Reggie89
Hi, I want to add CoD: Warzone to my VPN services, but i cant find call of duty in the basic service list. Can somebody help me in settting this up? Many thanks for your help!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 20, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2021 Hey, welcome to the forum! What platform are you playing on? If a PC you can just use the Games Console service, otherwise you can have a look at the ports recommended for port forwarding the game and enter those. Reggie89
Thank you for the welcome, happy to be part of the community. Should have mentioned that I'm on PC, so games console service is the one to choose?
Reggie89
Feel confusing as it says xbox when i do so
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 20, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2021 Yes you can choose that, or ports specifically. Yes it's fine that it shows up as Xbox.
Reggie89
Hi Fraser, doesnt work when its on game console unfortunately. Something else I can do? Not sure which ports I should select for warzone
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 4, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 4, 2021 What doesn't work exactly, is the goal security/to change the IP or to change your location to get easier games elsewhere?
Reggie89
Hi Fraser, if I change my desktop in device manager to a playstation the VPN is applied to all services and it works to my needs, only thing is that I then also stream Twitch over the VPN which is unnessecary. However when I adjust the desktop into device manager to computer and apply the services to 'Game console' it dont think it sees Warzone as a part of that service (wild guess: maybe because I launch from Battle.net and not game console?). Any idea on how to get the VPN to work just for warzone?
Netduma Liam
OK, perhaps you could try VPNing the specific ports for Warzone: TCP: 3074,27014-27050. UDP: 3074,3478,4379-4380,27000-27031,27036.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 5, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2021 You can make 4 rules, I've narrowed them down to these down below, in each rule make the Source ports: Start - 1 End - 65535 If there is just one port make it the start and end for Destination, if there is a range then make the start the first port and the end the second listed, for example: Source Start - 1 End - 65535Destination Start - 27000 End - 27050Protocol TCP/UDPRules: UDP: 3478 4379 - 4380 TCP/UDP: 3074 27000 - 27050
Reggie89
Thanks, understand how to fill it in now. I get the following message: Next to this, I can only select my device ones for one rule. When I want to add a second rule my desktop does not appear in the list, what am I doing wrong? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 6, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 6, 2021 What rule did you enter when that error came up? Are you trying to add one of the same rules for another device? That won't work.
Reggie89
Tried all the rules you gave me, just to be sure tried this one again just now SourceStart - 1End - 65535DestinationStart - 27000End - 27050ProtocolTCP/UDP And I am trying to add 4 rules as instructed but after the first I can only click on 'add device' where my Desktop is not visible anymore or 'add service' where I can only overwright the first rule I just entered. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 6, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 6, 2021 Can you provide a screenshot of where you're seeing the desktop as not available and that you can't select another service to add more ports? Reggie89
So add the first rule: Advanced > filled in all ports according to your example > got error message as shared earlier > click add device for another rule > desktop not available in device selector
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 6, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 6, 2021 You just need to select add service for the device and then you can make all the rules you want to apply to that device.
Reggie89
No, I can't because it will overwrite the 1st rule, even the basic services I can only add one for my device (and i get the error message). In that case I assume it must have something to do with the error: RPC error 'ERROR_VALIDATION': Validation failed for 'sport'
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2021 I don't think you've been inputting them correctly then as the rules don't overlap, here are all the rules and what they should look like: Of course for the mode you want it to be Only VPN these services. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2021 Thanks for the video, I don't think you're doing anything wrong there. I have noticed though you're on the older firmware, I'd recommend you upgrade to the latest firmware here then do a factory reset and see if you can input the rules without error. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/33236-announcement-new-r2-firmware-30179/
