Hello, unfortunately I can not seem to get the hybrid VPN option to work with my PureVPN. I'm not sure if its a fault on there side my side or on the Netduma R2. Can you please help me to figure this out and solve the issue?

Thank you,

Nelson

Hey, welcome to the forum!

Sorry to hear you're having this issue. Try a few different servers just in case it is a server issue. Otherwise we may need to update the server list so in the meantime using PureVPN OpenVPN configuration files entered manually would allow you to connect.

Hi Fraser,

I'm having some similar issues.  I'm curious why the PureVPN basic setup has so few of the available servers listed.  Is there a way to connect to a larger selection of the available servers?  They have many more than the ones listed.  Can this be accomplished using the advanced tab?  It asks for configuration as you noted, but I have no idea what goes in that field.  I tried copy and pasting the server info, but that does not work.  Can you provide any further information or guidance on this?  They have little information on the XR500.  Just the basic setup.

We need to update the list on the basic setup so I've sent that over to the team. You will need to obtain the OpenVPN configuration files from PureVPN. You can then paste the contents of that file into the Advanced section, enter your PureVPN user/pass and you will be able to connect.

If auth is failing then that indicates it could be the username/password - are you definitely putting in the correct details? They may have different details for you to use instead of what you login to their site with.
