once i found the  idlle that macthes my upload and download on  qos what should i set this to if am gaming ?

You don't really need to adjust this as gaming uses so little bandwidth, I'd suggest using the feature if you need guaranteed bandwidth. If you want to select gaming or the specific gaming device.

Hello, my congestion control will not work on my Xr1000 and its set to always. I have reset multiple times and even reinstalled the software a couple of times..  I can get great results on conection benchmark but soon as I run a speed test on any other device I get full speeds still ? Not sure if im doing something wrong 😕. I have only had it a couple of days.

Basically I'm setting my download and upload below 100% on both,  with always on and I'm getting great results on conection benchmark, but soon as I do a speedtest on my ps4 or other devices, it still shows up full speeds. I even set both to 5% with always on and did a speed test and still got full speeds. I'm lost 😕 lol any help would be appreciated.

I only have the xr500 and yes classified games. I play on ps4 at the moment. The xr500 red light next to classified games would stay on when playing on ps4 but it just keeps flicking on and off on xr1000..

I did try just adding my ps4 to high prioritization but it did the same.

So before I do the test you asked me to do, I downgraded the software to see if it would make a difference, at first it would not let me do anything so I did a full factory reset and then it let me downgrade.. I then tired congestion control to see if it now worked with both set at 30% and only the download worked but the uplaod was getting full speed still..

Updated back to latest firmware and download works on congestion control but not uplaod still shows full speeds with them both set at 30%

Thank you for the update!

I've made the team aware of this and hopefully we can get it fixed soon!

I’m having the same issue here. My WiFi randomly drops. Also the auto setup , CC doesn’t seem to work. When I run tests it gives the same speeds (.53 btw)

Try turning off OFDMA and see if that improves it. Also are you using Smart Connect? If so disable that and connect to 2.4GHz/5GHz manually. We'll look into the WiFi/QoS, could you see whether disabling IPv6 makes it work correctly please?

The firmware Fraser gave me was worse then the original..

I was still having the same problem as before but with these errors all the time.

.  duma-legend chart elem does not have chart property

.  Rpc error rule not found in chain

. Downloading data from cloud error

So I went back to then original firmware.

My setup.... ONT to xr1000 and before I was ONT to xr500.

The ONT to Xr500 worked perfectly but not on 3.0 beta so I just went back to the most stable firmware again with out a problem..

Its definitely the xr1000 or 3.0 causing the problems.

Did you factory reset after? That update isn't fully tested but wanted to see if it would help with the specific issue. Go back to a firmware that worked best for you and an official update will come soon.

Yeah, I factory reset after the update, but have now gone back to the original firmware.

Wifi has been ok today, but the congestion control still same.

The only massive problem I'm having that i know, is congestion control.

I have noticed when doing a factory reset, that when you go through the setup it stops so far through and then have to start again. This can happen a couple of times until to get to the end of setup.

I also noticed that when congestion control was not working at all on both download and upload, if you did auto setup instead that the download on congestion control would start working for some reason, but uplaod will never work, it always shows max speeds.

Thats as much info as know.
