djhixson88
Decided to pick up an XR1000 because of the wifi six and overall beefier hardware, plus it comes with 3.0 loaded already on it. Anyone with one care to chime in on their experience so far with it? Currently running an R2 while I like it, the hardware isn't the best.
Ptingler81
Hey the interface is EXTEREMLY slow. I just bought mine 3 days ago.. Fraser sent me an update that I got to d/l when I get home and factory reset. But I or anyone shouldn't need to do that 72 hours after purchase. Don't know if it's the hardware or DumaOS 3.0. It’s not uncommon that newly released routers need firmware updates to improve performances. It’s the same across the board for all manufacturers. djhixson88
So far I do notice it's a little slower than the R2, not a crawl (yet) but my main complaint right now is the connection benchmark, I can't get the upload ping (under load) to stay flat like I could on the R2. Otherwise it seems like a beast.
Newfie
Might just be a bit buggy on the test. It should be a good router and as time goes on touch wood it will only get better.

We can work on that if it is still an issue after the upgrade/reset.
