Traffic prio off?

Idk ab you guys but It feels better to me to have traffic prio off when playing Bo4 idk if the xr1000 just doesn’t have good traffic prio but everything I tried has been horrible,

on my R2 awhile ago, I used udp 1-65535 SC&DT

tried it on my xr1000 and I can’t kill anything. Feels better with nothing on... why is that?

xr1000? Stronger processor so no need qos ?

That is odd. It shouldnt make your gaming worse.. Ive always had very mixed results with TP.. So most of the time I have it switched off.. Basically for the same reasons you do..  Ive had much better results disabling all QoS and just use a manage switch with QoS..

Zippy.

What the benefits of a managed switch? Just need it for my ps4/ps5.

Also what r the cons? Which one do you use?

I tried traffic prio off last night and throttled my connection low. The bandwidth allocation isn't accurate, if I type something under 1Mbps and hit save when i got back to it it's set around 1Mbps. Anyway, the end result for my console was 1.09/0.37 with share excess off. Using something like this in a previous cod title it would give me good games but it doesn't seem to work in MW. I was having average games until I switched share excess and traffic prio on (duma games & ps4 console) then I started dropping multiple vtols every game.

From my experience, bandwidth throttling doesn't work in MW. What I think *might* work is playing around with different MTU sizes. It was the only way I could play Infinite Warfare. If i had default MTU set, every game I would get killed by what felt like 1 bullet but dropping the bandwidth and MTU gave me a chance. Because this is an Infinity Ward game, I tried using throttling and different MTU sizes hoping it worked but got the same results as playing full bandwidth with different MTU, maybe because it's an upgraded engine.

Do some testing yourself. Find a bandwidth you feel the game runs good at, start with a 1500 MTU and have a few games, record results then drop it by 8, and repeat until you find every encounter isn't shoot first die first.
