Administrators Netduma Admin Posted August 9, 2020 Administrators Posted August 9, 2020 Hi Rodney - could you let us know the bug you are seeing so we can look into it? Thanks

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9, 2020 Administrators Posted August 9, 2020 Could you provide us with a screenshot or even better a small video of what you're seeing? What web browser are you using? When it freezes are you able to cancel it or is the box stuck there?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9, 2020 Administrators Posted August 9, 2020 You said previously it freezes on the 3rd test, does it just occur randomly on any test? What web browser/operating system are you using for your PC?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9, 2020 Administrators Posted August 9, 2020 Okay thank you, could you try a reboot and see if it will allow you to complete the test after that please?
Newfoundland Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Try turning your QoS off and test again. When you first got the R2 online did you try the speedtest or did you alter various settings first?
Rodney Rosado3 Posted August 9, 2020 Author Posted August 9, 2020 I alter settings first then speedtest Getting the same thing with it off

Along with a reset I would clear my browsers cache too. A nice fresh start. if it worked I would then slowly set the router up one step at a time and would be testing after each alteration/step until the test failed and then look at what I last adjusted.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9, 2020 Administrators Posted August 9, 2020 Have you completely disabled QoS by doing so in the Congestion Control 3 line option menu by any chance? As you would need that enabled, otherwise some good suggestions above.
Rodney Rosado3 Posted August 9, 2020 Author Posted August 9, 2020 Yes I disabled qos same results I'll hard reset the router to see if it fixes the issue
Rodney Rosado3 Posted August 9, 2020 Author Posted August 9, 2020 I have my r2 connect to my ont from frontier fios as well I'll be home and let you know if its work correctly
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 9, 2020 Administrators Posted August 9, 2020 Thanks for the information, did the factory reset fix the issue?
Rodney Rosado3 Posted August 10, 2020 Author Posted August 10, 2020 I factory reset its working guys 😄 it gave me a scare I cleaned my browser as well
Newfoundland Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 That’s great, it was probably a glitch that just needed the good old reset. if you notice it again after altering your settings it’s a case of tracking down what you did last that caused the issue but hopefully it was just a gremlin in the works.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 10, 2020 Administrators Posted August 10, 2020 That's great to hear, thanks for letting us know! Do notify us if it happens again!
