Even if we were try and push a small change like this to Netgear they would want to test the entire firmware again to ensure it didn't affect anything. I imagine the decision was made that it is a small bug that doesn't affect functionality so would be best to get this firmware released and have it most likely in the next one instead. That has to be a really old version then because that bug appeared with Milestone 1.3. Can the build number be added to DumaOS on Netgear routers so we know if we to talk to you or talk to Netgear when there is an issue, because if you are months ahead of Netgear this just makes this really confusing for all concerned and another reason why things may not be working as planned if you don't know what build they are releasing, yet have to support it... So just how old is this build of DumaOS ? There needs to be more continuity and transparency in these updates and general information available for users I feel. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 21, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 21, 2019 Not necessarily really old but also likely our devs have prioritised bigger issues over a naming issue in a panel that currently people cannot use. The DumaOS build used to be available in System Information but I believe it caused confusion for users between firmware and DumaOS version both showing. The devs didn't fix the issues with the device monitor, or QoS still not working as it should, UPnP is bugged and the CPU graph too, so lots of bugs didn't get fixed at all considering this release was just four months shy of a year old since the last update... Also its the little things that count like GUI bugs, they may not do much but attention to detail says a lot I think.
