Hi I have found out I get better scores with the original netduma software instead of the latest version any idea why? sketch-1562577873998.thumb.jpg.5da2d50d5a593e119bc6cf11985e6348.jpg

I don't tend to pay much attention to those scores. I would be more interested to see PingPlotter results from the original firmware VS DumaOS.

Is the speed the same between the two?

It could be because DumaOS is slightly more taxing on the hardware.

also on dumaOS DPP is enabled and connot be disabled but on OG FW it is disabled by default.

Thanks for reply big dog what's dpp mean also Alex ping plotter looks the same lol also what do you mean taxing on the hardware more.  Love netduma brilliant equipment

Hi alix

If you have classified games ticked on dumaOS under qos

it will give you false readings as it designed to prioritize game traffic.

Try running a few tests with it ticked then unticked

DPP is Deep Packet Processing. It takes more processor power to perform and can slow speeds down on the R1 (this is my view and not that  of Netduma).

Well the ping is slightly unstable so maybe you want to move the sliders a little lower, but the ping is all under 30ms, there are no massive spikes like in the first picture, so I imagine it would be okay as it is. Make sure to prioritize your gaming traffic by ticking DumaOS Classified Games in the QoS menu!
