Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted July 3, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted July 3, 2015 Brand: Arris Model Number: TM502G Perhaps you could try setting it to 60/70 (where the download is at 60). Maybe that will be more affective

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 3, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 3, 2015 Do you have any devices that aren't connected to the R1 but to the modem itself? As this will cause issues like this as not all devices can benefit from the anti flood
MrWhooz
So do you think i should gradually decrease the caps to accommodate my gaming????
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted July 3, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 3, 2015 Hi Avery, glad to see you have your netduma. Ok few things to try here. Firstly your upload is pretty low so lets do the maths to figure out what you need. So you've set anti-flood in the upload direction to 70%. Assume a game needs 0.3mbits (that is quite high but I'm being extra liberal so you don't have any issues). By setting 70% anti-flood your upload is 0.7mbits availble. So you need 0.3 out of 0.7 mbits for your xbox at least. So that is (0.3/0.7) * 100 = 42%. So I suggest you do the following: Set anti-flood to 70% each way. Then set the xbox to have 50% (just take a bit more) in the device prioritisation. Finally if you're still having spikes either reduce the download anti-flood or try the reactive algorithm. Incidentally I'm working on anti-spike feature as we speak. The results are looking very promising so far, need to do real world testing. But in the lab achieving 100% goodput with less than 1ms spiking in 2 min simulation
