Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2018 Administrators Posted August 15, 2018 Do you have QoS disabled in Anti-Bufferbloats options?
lethaz4 Posted August 15, 2018 Author Posted August 15, 2018 Qos is not disabled https://imgur.com/xAmnS8F
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2018 Administrators Posted August 15, 2018 Have you added any manual entries to Traffic Prioritization?
lethaz4 Posted August 15, 2018 Author Posted August 15, 2018 Traffic Prioritization is on default settings.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2018 Administrators Posted August 15, 2018 Are you using IPv6?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2018 Administrators Posted August 15, 2018 If you open the Anti-Bufferbloat options, is the upload speed entered correctly i.e. to 1 decimal place? Does it have any kind of error? Are you using PPPoE?
lethaz4 Posted August 15, 2018 Author Posted August 15, 2018 my connection does not require PPPoE and my upload is set correctly without errors. https://imgur.com/CzBWSkt

BIG__DOG Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Qos is not disabled https://imgur.com/xAmnS8F I think Fraser meant in bufferbloat options menu..........
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2018 Administrators Posted August 15, 2018 Took a look via TeamViewer, appears to be to do with VLAN. Have contacted Netgear to test it.
lethaz4 Posted August 21, 2018 Author Posted August 21, 2018 I think i may have found a workaround to the VLAN issue for fibre i have just purchased a Netgear GS105E/200 v1 ProSafe Plus 5-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch that is capable of VLAN can the switch get a ip address from the ONT so i can use vlan from the switch to give the XR500 an IP address will this work ??

That sounds like it could work. Try it and let us know your results please.
lethaz4 Posted August 24, 2018 Author Posted August 24, 2018 Every method I tried didn't work. Netgear sent me a beta firmware for the VLAN issue still had no luck with that beta Firmware ??
Administrators Netduma Admin Posted August 24, 2018 Administrators Posted August 24, 2018 Hi Lethaz - Fraser is on holiday until Tuesday so he will follow this up with NETGEAR when he is back. I have asked him to post an update in this thread. Please also make sure you have let NETGEAR know the issue has continued so they can look into a fix.
