witton90 Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 hello, i think my router may have been bricked, cut a long story short, i accidently changed the lan ip address and disbaled dhcp on the R1 now the router wont reset from back of roiuter itself or connect via a ethernet cable, can anybody help on resolving this issue.thanks J
BIG__DOG Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 reset it from the back by holding the reset button in for 30 seconds then release.
pollutionblues Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Are you trying to access the UI using the new LAN IP address or the default 192.168.88.1?
witton90 Posted April 24, 2018 Author Posted April 24, 2018 yes but dhcp is disbaled on lan settings now cant access it to reset router back to default and holding down reset at back of router is not working ;/
witton90 Posted April 24, 2018 Author Posted April 24, 2018 This wouldn’t be a problem if the reset button would work, I’m probably gonna say it’s a faulty device as I’ve never had to use it before, what’s the warranty with these routers,? Does anybody know?
witton90 Posted April 24, 2018 Author Posted April 24, 2018 Ok thanks, It was January this year, who do I contact for replacement/repair?
