nytemare01 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Hey I'm noticing that the BF1 dedicated servers don't appear on the geo-filter? Just wondering if they will no longer be displayed.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 21, 2018 Administrators Posted January 21, 2018 Hi nytemare, is this on PC or console? We tested it on console and servers appeared. I imagine there are A LOT more servers on PC though which could be why they're not appearing on the Geo-Filter, are you using the Battlefield service for your PC on the Geo-Filter and have Spectator Mode enabled with the map fully zoomed out?
nytemare01 Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 Im on PS4. I currently have spectating mode on. They were appearing the other day. I'll keep trying
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 21, 2018 Administrators Posted January 21, 2018 If you're using the server browser that may be why they are not appearing but if you use the matchmaking searching then they should definitely appear. Make sure your PS4 is actually your console (double check the IP in device manager with the PS4 network settings)
nytemare01 Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 Yes I was using server browser. I double checked the ip address to make sure i was using the ps4. I will try quick match to see if it works used regular match making and no servers appeared. I will try a cloud flush and reboot router and try again. I will also verify that servers appear on COD. Give me a few moments please.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 21, 2018 Administrators Posted January 21, 2018 No worries, take your time. I can take a look if it doesn't work after that.
nytemare01 Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 OK. I performed the previous steps. I saw some servers pop up as the game was connecting to the EA multiplayer servers. However, no servers during matchmaking/online play
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 21, 2018 Administrators Posted January 21, 2018 PM me your TeamViewer details and I can take a look now.
nytemare01 Posted January 23, 2018 Author Posted January 23, 2018 Seems to only be a PS4 issue. The servers show up on the Xbox one x
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 23, 2018 Administrators Posted January 23, 2018 Okay interesting, I was going to try and reproduce this tomorrow but I only have the game for Xbox. Do you have a PS4 or a PS4 Pro? Will you be able to do a 1 on 1 this week in that case as we won't be able to reproduce it ourselves.
nytemare01 Posted January 23, 2018 Author Posted January 23, 2018 I can help you if we are able to do it tonight. If not, then I'll might be back either this weekend or the next as I'm a truck driver.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 23, 2018 Administrators Posted January 23, 2018 Okay PM me your details quickly, just want to try something we didn't try before. Otherwise I think Iain knows the cause and will include a fix in the next firmware.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 23, 2018 Administrators Posted January 23, 2018 We're going to buy BF1 for the PS4 tomorrow so we'll be able to confirm the issue and do a fix. Just to be sure can you confirm that the IP for the PS4 Pro on the device manager matches the IP on the PS4 Pro Network settings?
mosvalve Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Good morning all and sundry! I just wanted to confirm nytemare01’s issue and have noticed similar issues with BF1.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 24, 2018 Administrators Posted January 24, 2018 Good morning all and sundry! I just wanted to confirm nytemare01’s issue and have noticed similar issues with BF1. Thanks for your confirmation mosvalve! Only occurs on PS4 for you as well? Could you also double check the device you've added to the Geo-Filter matches the IP in the console network settings please. We'll have a fix soon!
Dopam-IT_1987 Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 pourquoi voulez vous voir les serveurs , je ne comprends pas ? why you see the server , i don't understand ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 24, 2018 Administrators Posted January 24, 2018 pourquoi voulez vous voir les serveurs , je ne comprends pas ? why you see the server , i don't understand ? So you can see what your ping is to the servers.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 30, 2018 Administrators Posted January 30, 2018 Hi nytemare & mosvalve, is it working for you now? Having trouble reproducing it, I have rebooted my PS4 so please try that and see if it works. Any other information you can provide would be really helpful such as was console selected before console/game was booted up? After boot up? etc I had to download a BF4 update when I went on to test it so that may have fixed it somehow!
nytemare01 Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 I’ll be in tomorrow afternoon (USA Eastern time) and I’ll be able to check for you. Thanks

Administrators Netduma Admin Posted February 3, 2018 Administrators Posted February 3, 2018 Console was selected after boot up. Tried wth spectating mode on and also used the console battlefield profile. Used regular matchmaking and server browser for matches Thanks for this info. The devs are looking it.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 4, 2018 Administrators Posted February 4, 2018 Just a thought before the devs chime in. Could you add the console on the Geo-Filter in spectating mode please with the PS4 completely off. Also disable SIP ALG in Settings > WAN Setup, then boot up the game and have a look at the Geo-Filter please.
nytemare01 Posted February 5, 2018 Author Posted February 5, 2018 Just performed those steps. No servers showing
