I called my isp to see if something was wrong on their end and to check modem. A ok on their end. I have to reset modem and routers and am back on. I've had this problem before not all of the time but it happens. My setup is modem-netduma-netgear nighthawk 7000. Both are on different channels. Just wondering what could be happening. With your setup you would be best having the Nighthawk in Access Point mode and turning off WiFi on the Duma instead of having WiFi turned on on both routers. This is exactly how I have mine set up and it works great. Unticking it might help but it sounds like the problem could be with your modem. Did you hear a beep from the Netduma when your Internet went down? Was the Nighthawk still powered on when the disconnect happened? Next time it happens, try resetting the Nighthawk first, then see if you have Internet. If not, reset the Netduma and see if you then have Internet. If not, reset the Modem and check i.e. try and isolate the device with the problem. I've had this happen before and my isp came out and gave me a new modem and no problems. It's probably the modem or isp even though they said everything looked normal on their end. Everyone bitches about charter (Spectrum). The connection seems stable but I would rather have fiber optic but charter is my only choice. I know it is a pain in the arse, but it is down to a process of elimination. isp's will always tell you 99% of the time it is not a fault with their equipment even if the main server was hit by a nuke they would still say it is not at their end and blame your equipment instead! I would recommend removing the Netduma and the Nighthawk for a few hours (or however long it takes) and seeing if the Internet drops out on the modem. If it does then that definitely rules out the other routers. If it doesn't, connect the Netduma and see if it drops out without the Nighthawk. It seems likely to be the modem causing these issues - could be the line to the modem that is faulty, but it could also be the Ethernet between the Netduma and the modem.
