tellto
How would have all my devices running through the duma? And whats the max speed the duma can handle? Right now i have all my devices running through my at&t modem (1gb download and 1gb upload) except my ps4 which is running through the duma. i would like for all devices to be run through the duma so i can use congestion control effectively. and what settings should i use because i haven't used wifi on the duma yet. Soloflyerz
I think 8 or 9 hundreds the max on duma and the WiFi range is less than ideal, but I have everything running directly from my fiber connection to the duma and it works great. My speeds only 100/20 and is actually slightly lower on the duma compared to the isp zyxel, not enough to worry about though. Reactive and if you want cc than just standard turbo mode as the higher setting eliminates cc. Otherwise settings should be the same as optimal from the knowledge base topic. Hey solo, just did those. My other devices aren't able to connect to the duma;s wifi. Do I need to turn off my modem's wifi? Because whenever i try to connect devices wirelessly to the duma its saying "unable to connect". Don't have any devices on blocked either

Should i deactivate it? I'm not sure if I deactivate the modem's wifi, the duma wifi will stop working as well..

You should disable the modem/hub wifi, otherwise devices will be able to connect to it and congestion control won't be able to control them. Deactivating the modem/hub wifi won't cause the Netduma wifi to deactivate.

Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted December 8, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted December 8, 2017 hey colonic, it is still doing the issue where I can't connect to the wifi even after disabling the modems wifi. Have you tried this guide: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022405-why-does-the-netduma-wifi-keep-dropping-out- Do you require PPPoE? Is this just wireless devices or are wired devices unable to connect as well?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 9, 2017 Administrators Share Posted December 9, 2017 If you have Internet through the Duma without PPPoE then you don't need it. Make sure there are no wireless devices 2-3 feet of the router. E.g. headphones, microwave etc. They all run on the 2.4Ghz band which can interfere with the Duma WiFi.
