However I was only getting 50mb up/down on Speedtest.net from my wired PC. I followed the guide (http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022366-why-is-my-connection-speed-lower-) and now I cannot access the internet at all. Welcome to the netduma forum! do a factory reset, enable turbo and super turbo modes to obtain full bandwidth........make sure you enable cookies 1st after the reset.......you will not get full gigabit speeds as the netduma only handles speeds up to 800mbps. Okay. As per the guide, I already had Turbo and Super Turbo enabled. The only thing I did not do is enable cookies. Deep packet inspection was also disabled. Before the Netduma, I would get 900/900 on speedtest.net. I tried adjusting my bandwidth again from within the router. I cannot set it above 300/300, otherwise the connection becomes unstable. Should I still factory reset as you suggested or maybe just try enabling cookies? UPDATE: I went ahead and performed a factory reset. Nothing changed. The 1st thing they will tell you to do is follow the guide. Remember to always make sure cookies is enabled from the get go, ipv6 in wan, lan and misc is also disabled. Please note that it is late night here in the UK so any netduma staff will not see this til tomorrow......... The maximum speeds you can get through the Netduma is around 800mbps, though that's under lab settings so you'll likely manage around 500-600mbps in a household. What happens when the connection becomes unstable? Does the Wi-Fi start to drop out? What about wired devices? Is the Interface still accessible when this happens? Just to clarify (and make it easier to see in summary) these are the settings we recommend for high speeds: - Reactive Algorithm - 100% anti-flood - Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc - Disable deep packet in misc - Enable turbo mode - Enable super turbo mode - Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds, and try switching Ethernet cables - Do a wired speed test from a PC Please ensure that these settings are applied and let us know the results of another speed test. I unchecked Super Turbo Mode and everything is working again, albeit at crippled speeds. Try removing the other two routers, so that your setup looks like: Modem > Netduma > All devices. With this setup, can you still not access those websites with super turbo mode enabled? Do you still not get your full speeds? This will likely be the main step to rule out your setup being to blame for this issue. I've personally asked Iain, our CTO, regarding this super turbo mode issue. He is adamant that those issues should not be caused by super turbo mode, so it's important that we rule out every other possible cause. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I should have the replacement tomorrow. If that does not work, I would be at a loss as to what other device would cause this issue. I've never had a problem until I started using the Netduma router. Has the possibility been brought up that enabling Super Turbo mode could possibly be affecting another setting? If all the setting does is disable congestion control, then I would imagine that some of my devices can connect, and some cannot. But this affects the entire network. I'll update tomorrow when I have the replacement. Unfortunately I am not in a position to either eliminate or replace everything on my home network to isolate this issue if it comes to that. Before I had the Netduma, my connection was setup using the Netgear switch to basically bond the ONT and my personal router's WAN port via VLAN, effectively bypassing AT&T's device after the initial connection. (Pace 5268AC) as documented here. It involves setting up a VLAN. I followed your suggestion for configuration, which for me involves doing what is documented here. The only thing I can think of is that there is something about the Netgear switch that is not allowing the full connection to be utilized when configured as previously linked. My setup now goes from ONT > AT&T WAN port > AT&T LAN port (configured in DMZ+ Mode and its WiFi disabled) > Port 1 on Netduma, with my PC, XB1, Netgear Orbi and Netgear switch connected to it. WiFi on the Netduma is disabled. I am now able to use the internet and utilize full speeds. While this setup does work. it unfortunately has introduced some new issues which I don't think are specific to the Netduma, but I am unable to find a feature or 2 that could prove useful for my scenario. For instance, I would like to be able to utilize port triggering. My cell provider uses WiFi calling, which is now being blocked somehow. I would like to be able to trigger the ports I need so that when the phones need them, they can be opened. Port forwarding only allows 1 IP per port range. This also might be related to another issue that has cropped up. On Xbox Live, I am unable to use party chat.
