Parkrrr
Is this possible? If so, how?
bagsta69
Depends on the printer, Mine is connected via wifi so all my devices can print to it on my home network.
ColonicBoom
Assuming the printer is capable then it's usually very easy, you can either plug a network cable into it or connect via wifi. You just need to go through the printer's menu system and add the network name and password. If you kept the same network name and password from your previous router then it should already be set up. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 4, 2017 As the others have said. One printer I use produces its own WiFi network so connect to that then print.
Kazamario
Could I get a hand setting up a Brother MFC-6920DW please? I have it connected to my R1, and see it in the device list, however, my PC keeps saying its offline and I can't print to it. I'm on W10-64 bit. Idk if I have to forward ports or what. Give the Printer a static IP address in DHCP lease. Does the router give it an IP address in device manager when you see it?
