DrDabz
I bought this so "called lag killer" 2years ago thinking it would help reduce "lag" and it's made it even worse. I know you're thinking how can that be possible i have no idea it was mind boggling to me as well. I give up i will resort back to the Nighthawk seeing at least their QOS actually works. It's a shame cause i had really high hopes for the netduma. AND YES I'VE TRIED EVERY SETTING THEIR IS.THEIR ARE NO SETTING I HAVEN'T TRIED.I give this product 4.out of 10 and I've tested for 2years. I'm supposed to have 60dl and 6up and yeah...
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 27, 2017 Administrators Share Posted February 27, 2017 In the 2 years you have had it you only asked for support once that I can see and that was about 4 days ago in someone else's thread and I asked you to make a thread of your own: http://forum.netduma.com/topic/19653-slow-speeds-troubleshooting/?p=141215 Please provide the screenshots asked for here and we will help you optimise: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022425-lag-support-instructions-to-post-on-the-forum- Your speeds are easily rectified by following: Reactive Algorithm 100% anti-flood Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds. Do a wired speed test from a PC If you could also provide information about your physical setup that would help e.g. ISP router (PC, Phone etc) > Netduma (All other devices) Also I fixed the embedded photo for you. bagsta69
Have you tried running a ping plotter test to rule out any ISP issues? I have also had the R1 for just over 2 years and for me it does exactly what it says it does. It puts me into lobbies with low ping in a geographical area of my choice. However with that said I have had issues with the last 2 versions of Call of Duty. Black Ops 3 was pretty hit and miss but Infinite Warfare has been awful for me on PS4. I stopped playing after a couple of weeks but that is not the fault of the R1. Is you 60 down and 60 up package an "up to" package? Are you running your speed tests with the CC at full 100% before lowering them to try and control bloat? I would deffo try a PP test if you haven't yet though. I had issues on my BT line for a while and it turned out that I needed new filters putting after which all was fine. Doh! sorry Fraser I posted at same time. lol
fuzzy clam
Just as said above, if you don't ask for support we can't help you, we're not mind readers. If your having issues with the duma make a post and provide the screenshots requested along with running PP to make sure your ISP isn't an issue. Plenty of people willing to go above and beyond to assist you but we need to know your having a problem in the first place.
frustrated
I seriously can't believe that its made things worse, I mean is that even possible, unless like me you would set it up wrong, which I've done, or you have a issue on your line ISP etc. It was always hard to play Destiny with Duma but that wasn't the Duma itself fault, it was the matchmaking. Trust me I'm clueless, and it definitely does what it says, yes certain games have certain issues with servers and matchmaking, but again that's not the Duma, and the congestion control doesn't help either ? BIG__DOG
erm, it does what it say's it will do, read the advice above and do pingplotter tests to see what is causing the issue as it's doubtfully the r1. http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/button/148810823706021965199-mini.png
