Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 21, 2017 Administrators Posted February 21, 2017 Hello, welcome to the forum! As was said in your previous topics the game servers were down which could have been what you were experiencing. If not please provide the screenshots asked for in this guide: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022425-lag-support-instructions-to-post-on-the-forum-
Glenn693 Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 Am sorry about it been a long time since i have replayed but these are the pictures i have taken hope this helps. my broadband is with vodafone i have 73 download and 19 upload from uk.
Glenn693 Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 and also when am in game sometimes my netduma freezes and when i try reboot my netduma it takes forever to load up the miscellaneous to reboot it. its like the netduma is running slow iv tried using it on google chrome and firefox any ideas why this would happen iv tried deleteing my cached ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 22, 2017 Administrators Posted February 22, 2017 The high ping is almost certainly a graphical issue caused by the V2 theme. Please do the following suggestions: Change theme from V2 to default in settings > miscellaneous Strict mode enabled Ping assist 0 Disable deep packet processing Enable cookies Are ALL devices connected to the R1 or are there some connected to the internet provider router?
Glenn693 Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 Thanks i will try what you said i will let you know the out come All devices are connected to the netduma
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 22, 2017 Administrators Posted February 22, 2017 Great keep us updated!
Glenn693 Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 hi frasor iv played well over an hour on those setting you told me to change and it still feels as if iv got lag i think its ping spiking
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 22, 2017 Administrators Posted February 22, 2017 You don't need to be using peer ping as it is connecting to a dedicated server. Allow auto ping to automatically ping the game, what does the ping show? Looks like its showing as normal now which is great.
Glenn693 Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 thanks fraser i will try auto ping and disable peer ping tonight and i will let you know how it goes. am getting a A+ on bufferbloat.
BENORMOUS Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 I've been playing IW and it's been really good for me but black ops3 is very laggy and spikey with players freezing in the air and then being insta killed,I'm affraid it's the game giving you issues and your home setup/settings not causing any of it or more than likely,in this day and age we should have far more stable games especially on the biggest selling shooter of all time but it's not the case,I take the rough with the smooth now days it is what it is
ColonicBoom Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 IW was smooth as silk yesterday but the servers pooped themselves the day before, 'twas messy. Glenn, regarding your lag... Do you see that you are lagging yourself or just some of the enemies you face in game? If you're seeing lag* (stuttering, teleporting, etc) can you screenshot the ping graph to the dedi so we can see how it looks? *If you're playing CoD and think that you fired first and should have got the kill but find yourself dead instead, this is probably not lag by the way.
Glenn693 Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 Its more of them lagging tbf your shooting them and there behind you before you can do anything like a stuttering motion if you get what i mean but some games its the other way round its seams as am moving with a jolt. Thing is iv been playing cod for years and on competitive level and never known it been so bad
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 23, 2017 Administrators Posted February 23, 2017 What is the ping showing with auto ping? Could you also do an internet diagnostics test please and upload the screenshot of the more details part.
fuzzy clam Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Just to eliminate the "possibility" of it being spikes I would disable peer ping and auto ping host. At least you eliminate those things from the equation and then we can go from there to see if it's an ISP issue, set up issue etc.
Glenn693 Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 iv taken i few more screenshots hope this helps thanks
Glenn693 Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 auto ping host.do you want me to disable it ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 23, 2017 Administrators Posted February 23, 2017 Okay so good base ping and looks like you're getting a low ping to the game but it is spiking a bit so could be local congestion or the server. Do you have ALL devices connected to the Duma? Move your location to block that UK server, do you have a better experience?
Glenn693 Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 yes all my devices are connected to the netdume and iv moved my location but will this restrict my games as iv noticed there are no servers running in that area?
Glenn693 Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 i just want to say thanks far all you are doing brilliant service.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 23, 2017 Administrators Posted February 23, 2017 I would put it here, there are servers here so you'll get a game: You're welcome!
Glenn693 Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 thanks il try that what range would you say ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 23, 2017 Administrators Posted February 23, 2017 Small enough that you cut out the UK but large enough you get some of Europe, like my picture probably is pretty good.
Glenn693 Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 thanks il try this and il let you know the outcome.
