Syntax Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I have been having problems with wireless devices occasionally not being able to connect to my netduma, and only connecting after a reboot. So I tried a factory reset, to see if it might fix things up. As I'm setting up the settings again I was wondering if there is a benefit to using WPA-PSK instead of WPA-PSK2. I have been told that WPA2 is more secure, so is there any reason not to use it?
BENORMOUS Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I use PSK2 as my laptop kept dropping out after a few minutes,it's a case of having a play around and see what works, could also try unticking wifi work around under miscellaneous settings

Try using that instead and see if your Wi-Fi drops out on any devices again.
fuzzy clam Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I use PSK2 for the reasons posted above.
Syntax Posted February 15, 2017 Author Posted February 15, 2017 I was using PSK2 before and I was still having the problems with it dropping out. Have any other help with dropping out?
