WPA-PSK or WPA-PSK2?

Recommended Posts

I have been having problems with wireless devices occasionally not being able to connect to my netduma, and only connecting after a reboot. So I tried a factory reset, to see if it might fix things up. As I'm setting up the settings again I was wondering if there is a benefit to using WPA-PSK instead of WPA-PSK2. I have been told that WPA2 is more secure, so is there any reason not to use it?

PSK2 is more secure and we generally recommend it for people who's Wi-Fi is dropping out as well. Try using that instead and see if your Wi-Fi drops out on any devices again.
