Hey guys quick question..i have bt infinity with 52 down and 9up.I use a netgear ac 1900 nighthawk instead of hub5 with my R1 connected to it.My ps4 is wired into the R1.do all of my devices need to be connected to R1 instead of netgear?at most there is 2 mobile phones an ipad and firestick connected to my internet

Like the big dog says, to get the most out of the R1 and it's software run everything through the R1.

I have around 16 devices going through mine no problem with less bandwidth than you.

Yep run everything through the Netduma so you're able to make use of congestion control. Would recommend turning the WiFi off on the Netgear so no devices automatically connect to it and cause you lag.

I'm just curious are you running the Nighthawk in AP mode ?

 

So I'm guessing...wall > modem > duma > Nighthawk in AP mode but I might not have that right.

 

I was just wondering what WIFI on which router you were using and which one's you had turned off but as said above if everything's not running thru the duma you loose some of the best features of the router.
