Does it put your home in the ocean?

That's because the CoD profile works purely on 'Ping Assist', it's not location based.

It puts you in the ocean so that your location is taken out of the equation and you will only find games based on ping.

I would definitely try it, it won't cause you lag.

It's trial and error really but the CoD profile is one that should give you a connection to a nearby host (I think it allows 50ms or less).

I don't personally use the CoD profile but I know that a lot of others have had success with it.

I'm in the UK and I have my Geo set at about 500 miles (800km) to cover Western Europe (UK + Ireland, France, Germany, etc) and I have my Ping Assist set at 30ms.

dose it effect anything if i use it ?

It doesn't mess with anything else, it just prioritises your ping to the host rather than your geographical location.

For example, you could have a host that's geographically near to you but with a terrible ping...

The CoD profile will make sure that you don't get this host, it will ONLY allow the lower ping hosts.

Can I do something about it so it won't go in the ocean or is that how it should be ?

That's what the COD ultimate profile it suppose to do. If you give this a read, it will probably answer lots of your questions regarding host filtering :)

I mean how could it go back to my location without factory reset my R1?

On the geo filtering page just below where it says geo filter there are 4 red buttons. one has a picture of a house on it. It is the one on the left. Click on it and then move your mouse over the map to where you want your home to be then click again.
