RedBull2k Posted November 8, 2016 Share Posted November 8, 2016 When it comes to installing the PS4 firmware, there are 2 types, first one being the smaller file size which overwrites previous firmware, and the second is for a fresh install with no previous firmware you will need the larger one. I was hoping the price would drop some more. not sure whether to wait for the black friday deals and maybe get it even cheaper. They are saying its a minimum of 40% better with SSD. Try watch again, think you got wrong end of the stick, which we have all done from time to time. CleanSlate Posted November 12, 2016 Share Posted November 12, 2016 I put an SSD in my PS4 Pro as soon as i got it home that's the first thing i did after reviewing the HDD in the PS4 Pro its a HGST 5400 RPM Sata 3.0Gbps 1tb HDD using the same one as a Original PS4.
