belly120
Ok so i'm using my router in bridge mode and my netduma is dialing out, works a treat and everything is happy and seems to be glitch free but...... i'm on a 64 down by 20 up connection, pre this setup i got mid 50 to high 50's down and 17+ up. now i get a solid mid 40's down and 16+ up. its rock steady and stable and fast enough but that is with turbo mode on, if i don't run turbo it drops to mid 20's down. so in the next upgarde will the PPPoE functions get a buff???? also anything i can do now to squeeze a bit more juice out of it? BIG__DOG
Turbo mode should always be on, deep packet off unless pc gaming, ipv6 off make sure you run reactive......i dont use pppoe as i have my duma running through my isp routers dmz. I get the speeds i should from my isp i get without my netduma or with it but i dont get advertised speeds. Advertised speeds are 80/20 and i get 75/19. Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted October 5, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted October 5, 2016 For your speeds we would recommend this set-up: - Reactive Algorithm - 100% anti-flood - Share excess enabled - Reset device prioritisation & apply - Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc- Disable deep packet in misc - Ensure the ethernet cables you're using are correct. - Do a wired speed test from a PC Turbo mode shouldn't need to be enabled for your speeds; but then again some connections are different. If it helps then leave it on.
