Please detail your setup and settings so that we can help diagnose the issue. BO3 is not a good thing to base anything on though... It's stumbling about and gurgling in it's death throes now, and is literally going into it's final month before the Battlefield1/Titanfall2/Infinite Warfare/CoD4 super-combo-flawless-victory sword of Damocles mercifully delivers a coup de grace that will end our suffering with this wretchedly inconsistent turd of a game. It might be frustrating for you to hear but it will be setup incorrectly if you're having a worse experience but this is a good thing because it can be fixed. It would really help if you provided screenshots from this guide http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022425-lag-support-instructions-to-post-on-the-forum- On to general settings I would advise: ALL devices connected to the R1 - this is important otherwise congestion control will not work correctly WiFi turned off on ISP hub so devices don't automatically connect to it 70/70 anti-flood - Don't worry about bufferbloat, as Zennon has said before - Bufferbloat only happens around the point of saturation and at 70% anti-flood it does not saturate Console in hyper traffic ~1000km radius Strict mode on PA 0 to start with Settings for speed: Reactive Algorithm 100% anti-flood (if not gaming or using the internet heavily, otherwise set as above) Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Enable turbo mode (if you don't get full speed without it enabled) Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds. major masingil Posted September 21, 2016 Share Posted September 21, 2016 i dunno guys does ur lights stay lit or does it just flash couse mine flashes alot the other day it was taking 20 minutes to load up the congestion then would freeze i dunno but so far nothin but probloms it might work good for u guys but me its not so amazing Yo Shanemo, My congestion control page gets locked up too sometimes. I don't know for certain what causes it, but if I restart my computer, all the Netduma pages load up quickly after. I don't know where the bug is, but it sure is a pain in the asterisk sometimes. Sometimes all I have to do is select a different page (Like Misc Settiings) to load up then go back to CC page and it works fine. brutus209 Posted September 21, 2016 Share Posted September 21, 2016 To be honest, shanemo, I really wouldn't worry about speeds as it really doesn't factor in for online gaming. It's all about the ping and stability of your line. Is cogeco cable? I have been told that cable can be unreliable for online gaming, net duma or not you might want to consider switching to dsl or fiber if it is available. I am running 18 down and 1 up with att with a house full of kids and devices, netflix, you name it, and I am getting pretty consistently good games. I have no idea what the flashing means. Definitely get those screen grabs and these guys will help you out, I guarantee you will not get this good of support from any other router manufacturer. Lobby matchmaking? Failure to find games? You died when you think you shouldn't have (obviously everyone thinks this)? You got killed round a corner (everyone thinks this too)? You really need to provide the information that people are asking for clearly, so that they can help diagnose the issue. I see that you have provided bits and pieces here and there but people don't want to read through several pages to try to piece your setup together. If you put it all in one post then people will find it much easier to try to help. 1) Detail the problem. 2) Tell us what your setup is, mine for example: ISP 'TalkTalk'. Hub HG633 > Netduma > Asus NT-R66U > Xbox One (all wired). 3) SCREENSHOT your settings from the following link. Don't just copy & paste it as it will go splat everywhere, it's hard to look at and nobody wants to try to decipher that. http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022425-lag-support-instructions-to-post-on-the-forum- Assuming you're gaming on Xbox / PS4 then I can at least tell you from your miscellaneous settings that you should: Disable 'Deep Packet Processing'. Enable Turbo Mode if you should have more than 50/60mb download. I know you've tried to post up the details but it's not very clear. We will be able to troubleshoot the problem but unless you clear up what the problem is, how you're set up and what settings you have, then most people will just give this a wide berth because it's too much like hard work trying to work it out from bits and pieces. ColonicBoom Posted September 22, 2016 Share Posted September 22, 2016 No need to apologise at all It just goes a bit messy when it gets copy & pasted is all, which makes it difficult to read. Ok, so it's lag when gaming on Xbox + PS4. Which seems worse when using the Netduma. This definitely points to a setup issue as the Netduma obviously shouldn't make lag worse in any way. If you're on a Mac you can take screenshots by pressing Cmd+Shift+3 and it'll drop the screenshots on your desktop, if you're on a PC you can use the 'Print Screen' button to take a screenshot (it used to be when I last used a PC anyway - not sure where it saves it though, clipboard maybe?) For Xbox / PS4 you should disable Deep Packet Processing, this setting is for PC gaming not console. And you should use Turbo Mode in (miscellaneous settings), as you have relatively high bandwidth, this will allow faster speeds through your Netduma.
