Ps4 nat type failed

Ran in to a problem on my ps4 getting a nat type failed

 

Got a open nat on my xbox one 

 

I have rebooted the duma, disabled upnp and enabled again

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated to help solve this

I too am getting nat type failed on my ps4, been like it since black ops 3 update 1.15, anybody have any idea whats going on? i cant connect to black ops 3, are the servers down?

Servers are oke... But what is the problem for us?

Think its netduma related, when i plug ps4 into bt smart hub it works fine, i get nat type 2, but through the netduma i get nat type failed, rebooted, factory reset still the same.

I'm failing on NAT Type as well and have to bypass the Netduma and use the ISP router to play. This isn't good!

Bypass the router, plug yourself into the ISP router and enable dmz, port forward or turn on upnp there. the netduma router is the issue.

I got the same thing after 1.15 patch.  Failed NAT type.  Got nat type back after rebooting PS4 to Type 2 but can;t load game getting ABC.1dokjnpdfpofnh errror.  Fixing to test on ISP modems.

It's not the Duma.  I just swapped to my Chicago based ISP and it went right into a Chicago server in 2 seconds.

If I bypass the Duma and go by WIFI on my ISP modem, I get a Nat-type 2 connection.. the point is: I play by cable and can't connect directly by wire to my ISP. So it is the Duma or the PS4. And my friends without a Duma are online and playing Blops 3. So PS4 isn't the problem also.

Just tested it to go by WIFI from the Netduma and the result is I get a type 2 connection. So the problem is in the cable from the Netduma to the Ps4. That gives us issues. Games worked with the Wifi connection from the Duma and my ISP.

Ok so as far as i can tell the problem is the geo filter, if you check on the map, when the ps4 starts up, on my map anyway its trying to connect to a server on the west coast of America? you have to disable the geofilter until the game has loaded up. I am in the uk so why im connecting to a sony server in the states is beyond me.

Fraser did a cloud update today as well so that may have something to do with it.  I switched ISPs earlier and it worked for a few hrs then when I went to get back on it failed again.  I can now get NAT type 2 in ps4 network settings but bo3 will still not connect. I can see the version updating but again, with geo filter OFF, ERROR ABCDEF..HIJK,,,N   b;ab

Yes, now i cant get on to black ops 3 even with geofilter disabled and dslreports web site wont work either, very strange.

I have disabled the geo filter and my nat type returns which is odd 

 

But in black ops it's nat type moderate 

 

This problem only happened out the blue for me on 16/8/16

In settings > miscellaneous un tick auto & bleeding edge cloud and choose the following:

Then click apply.

Does this resolve the not being able to connect when booting up the game with Geo-filter on?

Does this resolve the NAT test in console settings?

Unfortunately didn't resolve it

 

Still getting nat type failed in my ps4 settings, I haven't touched any of my settings for it to fail

I forgot to mention that it can take up to 4 hours to propagate so try it again and let me know as it should definitely have resolved it.

Ok will do thanks, when i tried it earlier i was getting connected to people outside the geo filter on with strict mode enabled?

Set up your profile, then untick cloud. It resets with every profile. For me it works luckaly....

If that doesn't work please go back to auto&bleeding edge and keep in mind it may take 4 hours to propagate

yep im getting the same thing today peeps.....everything works fine can play online but got a failed nat type and no chat party.....all other aspects of my internet are fine so is thinking is it a netduma problem???
