i got mine monday night before the release. its cool but not really happy with it, Only purchased for its 4k ability. 4k gaming has a little lag, they should of keep the solid state hard drive. My Xbox One Elite performs a lot faster.

From my understanding it does not do 4k gaming, only 4k video such as netflix and youtube...

What a waste of money and play on words to scam consumers into thinking they are getting something better. It's the same damn console with a smaller footprint. That's it. Nothing else is different about it. Typical MS looking to screw their customers. I was a long time Xbox fan, from day 1 of the original Xbox but this is getting out of hand.

11% increase in some games, its not that much but it is a performance increase, it has overclocked GPU and RAM is it worth buying a new one for ?

For me no.

"they found that the Xbox One S got up to 11% higher frames in Project Cars (47 FPS versus 44)"

Yeah, cause you know, you're gonna really notice that 3 FPS difference! /s

IMO if you already have an XBOX 1 there probably isn't a reason to upgrade, but for someone like me who doesn't have an XBOX it's worth it,not the 2TB version but I will be buying the 500 GB version when it comes out later this month.

The gaming companies are all going start coming out with new consoles earlier in the lifespan than they use to,I'm guessing in a few years they'll both be spitting out a newer and better version of the console's (LMAO) every 2-3 years.

It's all about the money

Yeah found the original XBOX 1's priced at 179.99 which is a pretty good price I think. But see them everywhere for 199.99 since the S came out
