nffcbaz72
What the heck is going on with this router past 2 weeks. Had it for over 6 months, had WiFi drop outs, nothing works, now can't get online again. Turned it off, and on, rebooted, and still nothing. Zennon
Do you have internet connection via your ISP router directly to your device wired?
nffcbaz72
Its turned of, I only use the r1. Not tried that yet, have to go to work now, will try later.
Zennon
So you use a modem then? Try connecting directly to the modem and check you have internet when your home, good luck with it
nffcbaz72
Yes, sky modem/router. Everything fine last night, had drop outs since I had it, worse past 2 weeks. Annoying as I have business on eBay seeking stickers etc, and can't print postage labels etc, and don't need this happening too often, which it does. M8 Sky Network was down this morning but it just came back on . Also untick Wifi-Workaround in Duma settings if you get Wifi dropouts.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 2, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 2, 2016 Sounds like Sky was your issue there. In terms of wifi, use a wifi analyser to find the least congested channel and change to that. You can also change the security mode and see if that helps. Some people require wifi workaround to be on so you could also try that.
nffcbaz72
Well it did appear to be sky after all. But that still doesn't detract why I have had WiFi cutouts since having the router, I have ticked WiFi workaround, and unticked over the past few months, and nothing works. Let's see how it goes now. Thanks for all your help above, there's no doubt the after care service is 1st class.
Zennon
Have you tried the WPA-PSK2 WiFi security setting in the duma? I use that and it works well for apple products with the work around unticked.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted August 2, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted August 2, 2016 Let us know how you get on; glad the issue appears to be solved. Let us know if you have any more issues

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 4, 2016 Administrators Share Posted August 4, 2016 Tried changing that Zennon, and it locked me out of the router, had to change it back on my phone via 4g. You would likely just need to relogin to wifi on your devices/change the security method it connects with
