jsp0511 Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Hey all. I haven't tinkered with my duma settings in probably over a month. I just logged in and it's as if my router has reset it self. Any thoughts? Also, I am showing unnamed device for multiple devices. I know the ps4 is one of them I just don't know which one thus i can't choose it host filtering. Kinda frustrated

astroman55 Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Have you got cookies enabled? Settings> Miscellaneous > Tick enable cookies
A7Legit Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 If I power off my R1 for more than 8 hours all settings are gone. That's why you save profiles, that way you can recall them back. I used to save profiles (.json files) and upload them to my cloud service(s) just in case I needed them.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 1, 2016 Administrators Posted August 1, 2016 If it was unplugged during that time it makes sense why yoyur settings would have been lost. Ensure cookies is enabled in miscellaneous settings and reboot from misc if you need to, that will save settings also. You can also create a profile of your settings and export it to import at a later time. Go to network settings on your console and see what the IP is, then match it with the IP on the device manager and rename it.
jsp0511 Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 Ok for some reason, Netduma is showing my PS4 as unamed device, yet I've named it in the past (PS4) and netduma has picked that up. Now it's not. I've factory reset the netduma and now many devices are not even showing up in the device manager. Any suggestions?
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted August 2, 2016 Netduma Staff Posted August 2, 2016 If they were connected by wifi, they won't be connected because the password has been reset (Since you factory reset the router.) The devices can't automatically connect now that the password is different. The new password will be "netdumar1" as default; you'll need to reconnect your devices using this password.

The PS4 is wired right to the netduma. As of now, it's still not showing up. Ive turned it off and on a few times now. I've run network tests on the PS4 with good results. Just that on the netduma side, it's not showing the PS4 as a connected device so I cannot apply host filtering to it.

Check the IP of the console in its network settings, then match this with the device manager on the duma, then rename that device
