If this is not what you need then I am lost.  for some reason I am not getting email notifications as soon as you post.  I checked my forum settings and it says it is set up to get email when someone post on my thread.  also is there anyway to communicate other then waiting for a post?

The support link specifies that you need to provide us with these screenshots:

  • Post a screenshot of the details page on the “Internet Diagnosis”.
  • Post a screenshot of the top of the host filtering page.
  • Post a screenshot of your Geo-filter in game.
  • Post a screenshot of your congestion control page please.
  • Post a screenshot of a typical ping graph (not anomaly games).

I must say that I've become increasingly disappointed with my R1 as well.  I've had it for about 6 months too and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread when i got it; it seemed to work great.  Here for about the last 1.5 months though I do much better in Black Ops3 without it and to the extent I've reinstalled my NetGear WNDR3700.  I'm running the latest firmware on R1 and have actually reset it to factory defaults and then followed the optimal settings guides.  It got really bad here a few weeks ago and would say that only 1 of every 15 games I get into is even playable.  Meaning that I can keep up with my score average SPM of 340.  I don't know what's changed recently, except new updates for BO3 by Activision, but most of the time I'm always one step or a split second behind everyone.....really bad! I've tried every configuration to no avail but sure wish there was something that could be done.

There may be something we can do but you have not posted about your issue so we are unable to help you until that happens. Please make your own thread regarding your issues.

This is not what you ask me for the first time. You told me to send a screen shot of speedtest.net. now it's more and more. Send me a example of what you need.

It is showing you have bad jitter and terrible spikes in the screen grab but it is blurred I can not make out the reading.

Can you screen grab only the Network Diagnostics please.

You are capturing 3 screens which is not displaying correctly for me.

Because you have terrible jitter on the earlier screen grab I would download and run https://www.pingplotter.com/download/

Type twitter.com into the target and let it run at peak time so say after 7pm for about an hour.

Do not use the internet while you test, File / save image... to save the plot for us to look at.

I have a 3 monitor system and this is the way it grabs screens shots.  is there anyway I can change it for now?

I would download ping plotter and run as my above post when you File : save image.... it will only save the GUI screen.

See my above post for instructions.

You could grab specific screenshots easier using Gyazo; you'd be able to select exactly what is pictured in the screenshot. The diagnosis is recognising that you've got problems with spikes and jitter. These aspects are usually caused by ISP congestion, and this will be proven by the ping plotter test. Use Ping Plotter to take stats over the entire day as Zennon suggested; we'll be able to tell through the results whether this occurs at peak times or otherwise and actually get to the root of this issue.

If you are using a Windows based computer, you can use ALT + PRTSCN to capture just that active program window.  Just click on the program pane that you want so it is active and use ALT + PRTSCN.

The sample is only showing 60 seconds along the bottom can you right click on the the 60 seconds and select 1 hour and also the top part of the tracert is missing so we can not see the round trip information.

Are you looking at the ping on the duma or on the in game ping monitor?

Speed test and ping test showing different is weird. I would imagine speed test is more accurate given that you wouldn't be able to get pings under your base ping. So with 25ms base and 33-50ms ping actually makes sense for your connection.

Regardless can you post the screenshots from here please: http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=lag_support_instructions

See above from 5 days ago.

---------------

As well as what Zennon is saying regarding your internet diagnostics, a few things I noticed from your screenshots:

  • Disable super turbo mode - Your 70/70 anti-flood is not taking affect because of this.
  • Disable IPv6 in miscellaneous, WAN & LAN
  • Enable strict mode on Geo-filter
  • Your Geo radius is a bit small, would recommend 650miles.

But it does look like your ISP is the main issue here.

Your base ping is around 22ms unfortunately you have ISP jitter hitting into the 100ms range which is terrible.

I am guessing you are with a cable company?

I would recommend so. I would say exactly what Zennon has said that you're getting serious jitter/spikes that is causing you issues. You've done tests over different days/times and it's occurring every time. You've got proof that you can provide them.

Contacted my ISP and they did ping test on their end and say that they show no spikes and jitters over 30ms ping. They also said they believe it's something with the router. Ip address or something or like that.

Did they remote access into your PC or Router to test this?

If not pinging you from their end means nothing they are testing their connection not yours

If they did remote into your device and you would know if they did as you would have to give them a ID and password and they would have control of your cursor on screen

Even if they had it is not peak time when thing normally get worse for a jitter issue.

You need to compile ping plotter tests to give to a level 3 engineer that knows what he is talking about.

No, they walked me through the test and they did not remote access my modem.  This is turning into more of a headache, I have you guys saying its my ISP and then my ISP saying its the router.  Dont know where to go from here.  I just want good gaming experience.  :)

To judge it fairly I would run ping plotter tests directly from your ISP router during the day and at night saving the screen shots , File > save image as.
