pbarbo
At least once a day maybe twice the wi-fi is no longer available. Connected devices still show a connection but will not access the internet. If I attempt to reconnect it will not allow me to connect. I am currently using a Motorola SB6183 cable modem with a connection of 200mb down and 20mb up. The R1 is the only router I have attached. It is currently running v. 1.03.6g. When I can access the net my speeds are normal and the wired connections always work.

But also the SB6183 has a known EEE bug that can cause problems as well.
bagsta69
If you already have wifi workaround ticked, try it un-ticked. also make sure that the router is not to close to any other electrical equipment like a cordless phone.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 28, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 28, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! Use a wifi analyser and find the least congested channel for you area and change to that as well.
pbarbo
I change the wifi workaround settings. The router is about 1m away from all other equipment. I have already used an analyzer. I am running on ch 11 all of my neighbors are between channels 1-7. The closest signal on the same channel only pops up on occasion. I will update if the problem persists.
