Wrong home location after loading any of the profiles.

Recommended Posts

Wrong home location after loading a profile: If I load 'any' of the profiles, also the ones I created myself, it then changes my Geo-filter home location to a wrong location on the world map.

If I change the wrong home location to where it should be (after I loaded a profile), it then immediately switches/resets from any of the loaded profiles, back to general gaming! If I do not change the wrong home location, any of the profiles keep working, but with a wrong home location, the settings become useless.

I live in Zwolle, Overijssel, The Netherlands. After loading any of the profiles it switches my home location to somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean.

If any of the profiles would just keep activated after I set my own home location, but they do not (if I change anything: home location, filter by distance, etc it disables the loaded profiles and changes it back to general gaming)

I still need help: after I load a profile with the global setting - Load Geo Home Location, it changes my location from where I put it, to somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean.

If I factory reset my Netduma, then my automatic home location is somewhere on the west coast the USA, then I change it to my country (The Netherlands), and the home location stays there even after a normal router Reboot. 'But' then when I load a profile with the setting Load Geo Home Location it changes my home location to the Atlantic Ocean. And if I change my home location to the right one (Zwolle, Overijssel, The Netherlands) after I loaded the profile, then the standard Ultimate COD profile resets back to general gaming?

Which profile?  Because there is one SPECIFICALLY that is supposed to put you in the middle of the ocean, as it draws on the power of the Ping Assist to get you local, and only local, games with less than a specified ping.

I think this is the CoD Ultimate profile, but someone will correct me quickly if that is not the name.

Thus if you are loading THAT profile and it is putting you in the middle of the ocean, check to see that your ping assist bar is at 40 or 50ms and then it IS WORKING PROPERLY.

I think other profiles keep you in your home location, but that one specifically was created for the dedicated server problem with BO3 upon launch.

As Dillinger said, certain profiles put you in the ocean to avoid any location based host selection.

The profile has not reset back to general gaming, it doesn't tell you which profile you are using, that profile just happens to be at the top of the list so that's the one you see.

Hey, I'll just reiterate what's been said above:

Some profiles put location in the ocean, specifically CoD Ultimate as it uses PA exclusively.

Just change location and profile settings will still work.

Enable cookies in misc settings to save home location when you change it manually.

Whenever you go back to the profile page "General Gaming" will show as it is at the top of the list. It will not show the currently loaded profile here.
