Well people recommend a VDSL Line example BT they seem to be good with online gaming i was with virgin media before but couldn't stand the slow down's so went with BT and my gaming has been a smooth ride but i'd check first what speeds they could offer you before switching.

I would say check what latency they can offer you, the width of the band the ping travels in is secondary when you are a gamer :)

I am with Talk Talk, but if you have no fibre in the area that rules them and BT fibre out.

You should have up to 24mb ADSL2+ though, how far are you from your exchange?

@Zennon, I meant to ask you about this - should I ask BT what latency they can offer me to Google DNS, or their own DNS, or something else?

Also does putting @Zennon notify you? That's probably a no and a stupid question but I'm sure I read it somewhere

Hi CB no it does not notify me, they probably would not know the answer to that as it has to many variables like what make of cabinet you have G.INP on upstream and down on Hauwei only on down on ECI.

Home wiring problems or line issues leading to interleaving they couldn't possible tell you even if they knew all this which they wont haha
