TEH BUTCHER
Disagree on most points but to each his own. I see a ton of variety of weapons being used. Obviously comp is a little different but the fact that you see 2-3 SMGs and 3-4 ARs used in comp speaks to pretty good weapon balance really. I think the streaks in this game are balanced well and are worthwhile using. Also hit detection is good IMO if you watch any slow motion replays you'll see shots hitting that should be hitting. fuzzy clam
Yeah velloony I'm with you.I liked Ghosts a lot IMO it's the best game since BO1. I Liked the TTK and the streaks weren't overpowered but that's why so many people didn't like it. And I felt like I was playing Ghosts when we were running the lag comp experiment, you were the host for our group and I was just a target for you guys.Felt like I was getting killed on Ghosts TTK and trying to kill people for me was like BO2 or 3 TTK LOL Nice vid

TEH BUTCHER
I agree that ghosts was a good cod and I had a lot of fun with it especially things like thinking of really annoying places to put the IMS and baiting people into guard dogs etc plus double squadmates and mates picking up snipers off the ground and headshotting people with them was hilarious. I do like the vert movement in Blops 3 though and the specialists are an actual new thing added to the game that was done well instead of a gimmick. secretface
All I know is with Ghost and even AW I felt like I had to play every night or I was missing something. Bo3 not so much ehh. But they are all the same other than that to me. Its cod they all have issues. Just pick the issues you can deal with and that makes it the best one I guess. Scrizzy
exactly man, some ppl just blind too the facts smh. I'm confused as to what makes your point of view "facts"? lol. As Secret said, each COD has its issues, strengths, and weaknesses. I think each studio, and thus each title in their respective series, has it's own tone, quirks, and vision of what COD should be. Some of the games are rusher friendly, some camper friendly, some killstreak happy, others more stripped down, etc.. I think each intentionally offers something a little different (within a fairly simplistic formula). I prefer the Black ops series (black ops 1 probably being my favorite) over the others, with the exception of the excellent Modern Warfare 2 (despite the glitches that effectively broke and ended that game), but that team no longer makes COD so.. I actually enjoy BO3 and think they have done several things well with this title, partly learning and stealing from what some competitors (Destiny, titanfall, etc.) did well. I thought MW3 was flawed beyond my personal tolerance, and Ghosts is often cited as among the worst CODs for a variety of reasons (Map design being perhaps the most egregious, camper friendliness also being a turn off to many). But to each his own as said above. We all play the game with different styles and for different reasons. I'm a high kd/spm bonafide try hard, balls to the wall rusher, and I play to win.. lol. So if you're hiding in a corner in my lobby, you're in for a rough night..lol. That's the point, the community can't really unite around what kind of COD they want anyway, so the developers can't win either. Space? Modern combat? WW2? Slow? Fast? Gun on Gun? Specials and Killstreaks littering the sky? Competitive? Casual?.. Who's right? At the very least, we can all agree that the netcode has been pretty trash all throughout. And that is the ultimate frustration. Ghosts "netcode" isn't really any better per se, it just has a very fast TTK to compensate. However, that fast TTK also takes a lot of the skill gap out of the game, which is a tradeoff that does not sit well with many good players. And if that was so ideal, you would see a lot more people playing harcore, and that just doesn't happen. I think the general consensus would be a medium time to kill with good hit detection factored in. I know that I have found a networking and settings configuration using the Netduma that work great for me. And it was definitely worth putting in the time to understand the full power of the software, as well as the way BO3 netcode and matchmaking seem to work in order to fully optimize my experience. We all know it's a flawed game, but we play it because there is no real direct competitor that has captured the same formula yet. So in the meantime, I'll keep at it. Me+MyDuma is a deadly combo..lol. 4+kd and counting.. I definitely feel for those who have to deal with the frustration and have not figured out how to optimize things for themselves, or are restricted to bad ISPs and equipment that may make that even more challenging. And I can also understand those for whom the COD experience just isnt worth all the effort to them anymore. Again, to each his/her own. But I know the Duma gave me tools that have changed my gaming experience without a doubt.
UK_Wildcats_Fans
I have been playing COD since MW2. Each game has it's pros and cons. I adapt to each game and find what works best for me. While I enjoyed all the games and playing with my friends, Ghost was my least favorite due to the maps and camping.
Dillinger
LOL - On what measurable criteria? If Ghosts were a better game, it would have sold more. If Ghosts were a better game, it would still have tons of people playing it. If Ghosts were a better game, it would not have killed several YT channels (and thank you for thinning the fucking herd on that shit show - so Ghosts gets a nod from me on that). If Ghosts were a better game, ANY of the bullshit they tried would have been copied. What good is a fucking ground based UAV that highlights one room? If Ghosts were a better game, players that were beasts in Ghosts, would be killing it in follow up titles - and I am talking about pro players here. Nobody I can think of who became a known name in Ghosts (I'm looking at the likes of you Jeremy_Studdy) is even relevant today. Now if you liked Ghosts more, like Fuzzy Clam does, then that is your God given right. But there are no meaningful categories where Ghosts could be considered a "success", let alone "better". The good news is you are going to see more Ghosts 2 than you can handle here very soon. You too can run around in Call of Destiny: Ghosts Edition and have meaningful 0.5 second encounters on Star Fleet like ships around the universe. I, for one, CAN NOT WAIT to miss this title.....LOL
C0bretti
I enjoyed Ghosts, but I think that was because I was in a big clan at the time and always played with a 6 man team. When I played on my own I didn't really have any fun. But with blops3 I have a lot of fun when im going in servers on my own_^

I had fun doing that maybe that is why I do not feel the urge to play as much on this version of cod. BO3 isn't a bad game just that one thing missing that I can't place. Weird thing is I'm probably better at BO3 then any other cod title I've owned. I didn't say I was good just better for me. LOL
