For those of you going after hero armor Nuketown - Hardpoint is far and above the best map/gamemode combination for hero armor the combination of the map and game type allow for maximum point accrual and opportunity to earn as many specialist abilities/weapons as possible in a single game which is essential when going after those "kill 6 in a game" hero challenges. I don't think I would ever get the snipers or pistols. As far as Hero gear I have been working at getting all the "skills" first although I have a few of the weapons completed as well. I usually pick on when I am working on my weapons like at the moment almost finished Combat Vision and have done both for fire guy; senior moment can't remember all those names! In case anyone doesn't know, you don't actually have to get the bloodthirsty medal with just the knife - you can get 3 knife kills, a gun kill, a knife, a trip mine and then another knife kill... As long as you get five knife kills with one life then it will still count. But yeh, the semi-auto snipers are going to piss me off and the pistols have already pissed me right off. The next three were torture! People kept killing my targets as I was dropping the spikes. Last two I did by small map rushing and dumb luck two games in a row. This works especially well for the double kills for anyone that needs them and just racking them up in general (without dying too much). Obviously run that perk that earns your Specialist faster, use UAV and Counter for the bonus points (I think they push your specialist meter with assists too but not sure?) These are the quick and dirty methods I used anyway. Use C4, chuck it through a sniper's window where there a frequently two snipers (think Infection, Fringe, etc), Glitch instantly and trigger C4 don't wait for the beep to confirm proximity and starting running... That's often two, hopefully you run into and kill a third (and fourth if you're really lucky). Then you only need to get one using the same method in the remaining half of the game. If you hit a double really early in the game then it's so much easier. And try C4/Semtex on Combine, throw it up to either of those high ledges that look across from one another, anywhere that idiots bunch up and get stuck together, Glitch before it blows and start running, spraying and praying. Again you often get doubles + a gun kill. The high room above the middle on Aquarium got me a few doubles too. Rejack takes a bit more skill (luck) because you're not quite at full health and people will kill your targets. And it's dirty. If you wait OUT OF SIGHT near a high traffic or sniper spot (outside the back of the barn window, on the roof, on Fringe for example), there will often be two snipers in there... Blow yourself up with your C4 outside, Rejack, jump through the window and shoot the two snipers in the arse. Rinse and repeat. Also works on Combine in loads of places because people bunch up everywhere on that - but you're also more likely to get shot from somewhere else on Combine. I did Rejack in about an hour. I won't live as long as I should have done because of the distress it caused. I really hated the Firebreak ability double kill too, little pricks kept nicking my kills.
