I did a factory reset of the modem from my ISP and since then I have Nat type 3 and strict in ps5. Does it have any effect on the online game, lag or something similar? The modem from my ISP is in bridge mode. I noticed that my public ip address has only changed in R3. Does anyone have a solution or know what to do next to return to Nat 2 and be open as before?

ok which of those two Mac addresses should I put in the DMZ of the modem from my ISP? thank you
-
Not to open a new topic just for one short question. Thank you! Under the router, the Mac address is 44:10:91:67:7b:e8. when I enter the Wan setting in the router, I see another Mac address and which of the two 44:10:91:67:7b:e9 is the real mac address of the router.? And can I change the mac address or is it not recommended? Thank you!

If the ISP device had a geo filter, the story would probably be different. But since there is no - that's how it is. -

I agree with you that it's all a risk with vpn, but again... the bad experience was with R3 when I compare the old Asus router I had. Asus had the same problems with VPN and servers as well but much less than with R3 that's for sure . -

I hope that HVPN will be fixed, improved and the team will see what is wrong there. Nothing was working properly there. Big lags, ping jumps, image freezes, image tearing... HVPN works very badly. -

Interestingly, the only firmware I haven't tried is 147. What do you think is good about 147? -

I also had a lot of lagging with the new 219. I thought about going back to 170, that firmware worked really well for me, but in the end I decided on 4.0.41. The CPU is not stressed as much at 41 as at 219, and the hit detection is still there. I have no comment. -
Hi, I have a question. When the setting is done on the Ping Plotter and a satisfactory line is there. Then after WaveForm (Bufferbloat) is done and the result is B or C. Which test should I trust more!?. Go to A+ (knowing that it can break the Ping Plotter) or leave the Ping Plotter well set and forget about A or A+.? thank you

I think you did a good thing when the hammer worked and you finished this story. To be honest - R3 without Geofilter would be worth 10 euros. 5 days it works, 25 days it doesn't work, and then I hope everything will be ok, but again something goes wrong.

Thanks for the advice, but it seems that none of them work for me. I tried all 4 ports and they all work at minimum speeds. Did Wi-fi also show minimum speeds? For me, both Wi-Fi and LAN cable show the minimum.
-
what did you try to do until you went back to the previous firmware? I have the same problem as you. My speed went from 900 to 15.

Now I'm not sure anymore, but I know a man who knows everything 🙂 @Netduma Fraser

Hi , Is there any information on when this can be fixed with the servers? I have all fake pings. Thanks
-
What I have seen so far on this Forum is that - what happens to one, does not necessarily happen to the other. Everything with this router is very strange. I have a problem that Steady Ping does not work at all.
-
I personally use these settings. I'm on 170 Firmware and I have no problems with the filter. If you are on one of the older versions, ask @Netduma Fraser to add you to early access to one of the newer versions. There are two 179 and 170. I use 170 because VPN.

Everything is possible. These R3 routers do something different for everyone. They work for one and not for another. Enigma

It works.I don't use DMZ.I also don't use upnp.I think that the fact the router is crashing has nothing to do with this.
-
OK. Then I will do so. Thank you for always being there for everything. Many greetings for you 🙋🏻♂️

It's all very strange. I changed ISP. On my last ISP everything was in bridge mode and I was opening the ping graph at an average of 30%. This new device is now in router mode and R3 is placed in the DMZ. Now that it's not in bridge mode, I open a lot more Ping graph. it was the same with the last one and I opened more until I set it in bridge mode. While the device from my ISP is in the router mode, I have the feeling that I'm a little late. Maybe I just imagined it, I don't know. Should I call my ISP to put this device in bridge mode? Thank you!

I don't know what is the cause, but from my location (Serbia) since the first day of turning on R3 (two months ago) all MW3 servers are like this 1ms- 3ms-4ms. London, Amsterdam, Mulhouse, Mainz, Legionowo, etc.. I believe that it is not something complicated and that you will find a solution to fix it.Do I need to send more or is it enough? i have sent 50 servers so far. 🙂
