hello, did you manage to solve your problem? I haven't tried CyberGhostVPN yet. I would try their 14-day trial with a money-back guarantee.

My settings for Good Hit detection MW3 <R3 Router
Zli replied to Spritekid242's topic in Call of Duty Support
This is really well played.GG! Can you honestly tell me how many miles away this server you played on is from your location where you live? You literally play Core like it's Hardcore. 90% of them fall on 2,3 bullets. I don't think it's about the settings here, how close the server actually is. I have a feeling that your server is 200 miles from home.? Lucky manπ- 194 replies

You don't have IP IGMP Snooping on R3. You may have that option on your device from your ISP. I'm on 4.0.236- 194 replies

https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53537-my-settings-for-good-hit-detection-mw3/page/7/#comment-419216 Go to page 6 and 7 where I left comments. You need to try different things and explore something you haven't already with R3 until you find what is ok for you. R3 has great potential. I got C and D on the Bufferbloat test. And the hits in COD are never better. Very bizarre. My Smartboost is turned off For now, R3 works great for me. when R3 starts causing some problems and lagging in the game, I will do a hard reset and everything will be ok again. I noticed that when a hard reset is done 2x a month, the R3 works very well. I have a feeling every 15 days that something strange happens inside R3. It's not a problem for me to do the settings again from the start. I'm familiar with R3 and it takes me 5 minutes to set everything up again as it suits me. I note again. What works for one may not work for another, but it's worth trying. The latest thing I did on page 7 was to turn Smartboost off completely and I'm happy with the results of the game. I don't know when was the last time I had less than 30 kills at the end of the game. Whatever adjustment you make, don't expect Magic in 15 minutes. You have to give R3 a chance for at least one day and play like that and then see if it's good for you or not. Be patient with R3 and try different settings and experiments until you are completely satisfied with R3. I tried many different settings. I don't know what else to tell you. ππ»ββοΈ

IGMP snooping is a method that network switches use to identify multicast groups, which are groups of computers or devices that all receive the same network traffic.IGMP snooping should be enabled when a network is using multicast applications like online conferences, gaming, and video streaming. IGMP improves the management of multicast groups and helps optimize traffic. I'm also currently experimenting with the settings myself. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but the fact is that the hits are better in COD. As I already wrote, I changed the WAN MTU from ISP, Static IP, Bridge Mode, DMZ, IGMP. And the difference is visible in the Game. The modem from the ISP is in bridge mode, but when I turn on Wi-Fi on the device, I can connect to it without a Wi-Fi network. I have access to the modem itself and make settings there.- 194 replies

For this time, what I could see on the forum. What is good for one person is not necessarily good for another, but it is definitely worth trying. R3 is a router with which you always need to tinker and experiment. You can find it on Google test (you can download the program) and check which DNS is the best in terms of measurement and the fastest for your region. For me, the fastest is 9.9.9.9 and 8.8.8.8. Those DNS are on my R3 and sony.- 194 replies

What I want to say is: I checked the MTU in the WAN settings on the ISP device and I found that it was 1492, which did not match the results I was getting when I checked 1492. The packets need to be fragmented. I found that 1472 is fine for me and doesn't need framgmantation. I changed the MTU. Then I called my ISP and asked them for a static IP address that will only be mine (all public IP addresses you have are shared with other clients of theirs) (your public address is used by 10 other clients from your ISP and you share the same public IP address that changes over time ) Static (personally my IP) costs 5 euros per month. I put R3 in the DMZ in the modem/router from my ISP. I asked my ISP to put their device in bridge mode. R3 has absolute control of everything..Enabled IGMP on the modem from my ISP and set snooping. Enabled only one LAN port for R3 and disabled all others. I set the PS5 console in R3 so that it is PS and not a console. I also set MTU 1472 in R3. The TCP protocol on R3 for Sony is disabled.I disabled Smartboost because only the Sony, tv and two phones are connected to the R3.For now, this is how my PS5 works and hit detection is really good. I don't have below 30kills in the game. I play Control and Teamdethmatch.- 194 replies

PS5 SETTINGS MODERN WARFARE, POSSIBLE CONSOLE FIX?
Zli replied to meck1's topic in Netduma R3 Support
ok that makes sense. It's unbelievable to me how someone can have an A+ with Smartboost turned off, because it's impossible to get an A+ with it turned off. -

I did all the same (or I hope I did) I limited the speeds to 70x2 and I get a C or D result sometimes. -

I don't understand how you can get A+ if you turn off smart qos!? When I did that, Buffer went crazy. Otherwise, when it's on, I have A+. my speeds from ISP are 900down 400up. I manually set it to 70 - 70. -

It depends on what you're doing online and the type of data being transferred. UDP is better if you're gaming online, because its speedy data transfer allows for mostly lag-free gaming. TCP is better if you're transferring files, like family photos, because it ensures the data arrives exactly as it was sent.Fast-paced multiplayer games (first person shooters, arena games, etc), use UDP protocol to sync player movement and update game state. UDP headers are ideal for sending these game updates at a ridiculously fast speed, but messages are not guaranteed (because the next message is coming so fast behind). In UDP the route/path is not fixed and the packets are just sent over which ensures faster delivery of data. Thus, UDP is faster than TCP. As the game is multiplayer so it needs to be interactive thus you need UDP. Infact, all the live and interactive sessions or games are UDP based. And finally, it is not important to adjust R3, how much more important is the adjustment of the device from ISP.R3 comes at the end as a fine tuning. Don't skip the device from your ISP because it's the starter of everything.- 194 replies

Guys from the Netdum team, I think this 236 Firmware has finished its career and that another one should be released. It worked great for 15 days and then the problems started. First, the speeds began to drop, slow loading of web pages, lagging of the router, weaker reactions to online games. R3 had to be rebooted when its speeds dropped because that was the only way to get everything back to normal. Now the router no longer recognizes Activities in smartboost, only devices. I believe there is also a misunderstanding of the protocol with the software itself. I think this is clear when the activities are no longer recognized.R3's brain is dying. π₯ R3 started to go crazy again! it needs a new firmware update so that everything works normally again in 15-20 days.

I stopped using hvpn 3,4 weeks ago. I have used SurfShark, ProtonVPN, Expressvpn, NordVPN.Yes, I'm on 236 and I have no intention of trying to use hvpn on this firmware because this new update works great for me.I don't want new complications. I have a bad experience with using HVPN. Maybe with 236 it would work better, but I don't even want to try.
-
Let's hope it stays that way in your case. There was a lot of disconnection, frequent drops in router speed, instability of the VPN itself in the game, packet loss 1-5%, etc. Everything works fine for a few games after the reboot and then instability again. But you don't need to worry about that because it works great for you and you don't have that problem,is that right? Smartboost didn't work properly. One mistake led to another. But I cleaned the router with two hard resets and several factory resets. I stopped using HVPN and it stopped. Coincidence or not, we will not find out.
-
I had the same problem as it is written here, and some other complications caused by Hvpn and I stopped using Hvpn. I know several other people who had a problem with HVPN, but if you say that we are a small percentage of people with a problem using Hvpn and that HVPN is quite ok and works great (not for me personally). Okay then. There is no need for me to write further on that topic.

HVPN doesn't work well for anyone, so it won't work for you either. HPVN crashes the software, my friend's HVPN broke the router. My advice to you is to stop using it until they fix HVPN.

I can't even imagine how good it feels to play on 3ms ping. I think you are lucky to have a server in front of your house.Everything is the opposite with me. 40-50ms and 1500km to the nearest server. 200kills GG man!
-
.This Firmware is so good that I can't stop playing COD. Thank you! Great job!!
-
Just one more question. Should I turn off UPnP and remove my PS5 from the DMZ of R3? I don't care if I have nat type open or not.
-
I mostly play alone. So then everything is ok. I really don't care what it shows there, as long as my hits are registered at a normal level. I don't expect magic, I'm 1400 km away from the nearest server. Thank you for the new firmware and for trying to improve R3
-
All this was set in bridge mode by the ISP. I had nat type 2 and open, now I have nat type 3 and strict. Obviously I shouldn't have done a hard reset with the ISP modem, but now it is as it is.If it doesn't affect the game and the lag, it doesn't matter to me what it says.??Does that make the game slower, lag, etc?? Tnx

I don't understand how actual R3?
