Hello, in my ISP modem (bridge mode) it says WAN NETWORK Subnet Mask 255.255.240.0. Should I manually put the same Subnet Mask in Netduma R3 and PS5 as well?

Great. Now I am currently connected to my asus router to my modem from my isp. The isp modem is in bridge mode. Asus is set to vpn. I have express vpn subscription. my Netduma R3 is connected to the Asus router. I set DMZ in the Asus router from the Wan R3. Asus router has DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. R3 has no DNS. Sony has the same 8.8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. The Sony ps5 is connected to the R3 of course.R3 through Asus router works on VPN. 40% of my hits in MW3 have improved.

OK. and can it use expressvpn or nordvpn services? Will there be those settings?

Does it help for gaming or just network privacy and netflix? Tnx

Has anyone ever managed to connect to this MW3 server!?

Does this settings really make any difference in MW3? What is your personal opinion and does this have any logic?🙂

I wrote about this, but I didn't send the pictures, so I'm sending them now to explain myself a little better. In the first picture, as you can see, there is a big distance between normal ping and Steady ping when it is turned on. Anyone who plays FPS games knows how much 5ms, 10ms can mean in 1vs1 moments. That's why I think it's ok when you go to expert setting that the start can be set manually from 5ms etc... Now the starting station is 10ms. It would be great if that would also come in the next firmware.

It's not fair from Activision that they didn't activate more servers on a global level. I also tried VPN with an Asus router and I couldn't do anything. Everything was the same, if not worse. I also think that VPN is a big delusion. My ping was much higher and I was late. I used NordVPN and ExpressVPN. I'm waiting to see what the hybrid VPN from Netduma will be like and how it works.

I think that what you are saying is not true at all. Every time I'm in a game, I ask the players from the team what their ping is. They all have a better ping than me because they're French, German, Italian, Belgian and so on... So I know what I'm talking about. it's not the same when playing from countries that are surrounded by MW3 servers and the country I come from, which has to go through 4,5 countries to get to the MW3 server. I don't know where you are from, but I'm from Serbia. All servers for MW3 are 1000km+ away from me. Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Switzerland... everything is far. For you, everything is probably better and different. Be happy and have fun.

Brother, you are a lucky man. I feel desperate when I play on those distant servers. I dream of a server under 20ms. Maybe it will happen someday. I wish you happy playing and good fun in Ranked Play.

I agree with you that the R3 is a great router. I've tried a lot of them in the past and I've had expensive routers from well-known brands. The truth is that the R3 still has bugs in the software, but I have no doubt that it will be the best router when it's all sorted out. I saw your Rank in MW3. Servers are a problem for me and distance, not the connection of my ISP. Total disaster Ranked Play. I'm a hardcore player as well and it's easier to play there because you don't need to shoot 7-10 bullets that travel through the server and register it in order to kill the opponent.The long distance of the server can't register every bullet I shoot. I'm desperate! I bought R3 only because I saw that Austria has a server for MW3 and that country is 600km away from me and my ping would be 15ms. Then my game in Ranked Play would be a real story and realistic. I shoot 80% first and get killed at the end. Shoot first - be killed first. I'm desperate! I'm sorry that that server in Austria is invisible right now and that R3 can't locates it. I love Ranked Play but it's very hard to play on servers 1000km+

Activision has current problems with the software. Everyone has lost the ping counter N/A, but everything can be seen in the settings of the game itself. When the match starts, you go to Game settings: Account and network, and in the right corner of the screen there are latency numbers (ping).

OK. I will send a couple of servers from each country. I have to wait for the ones that show up. They are rare, but they do appear.

All servers are wrong from my location. All servers France, Poland, Germany, Italy... I sent them now in this message. LoL hahahah It would take me 20 days to list them all. Mainz alone has over 150 servers for MW3.

These are the pings when the game starts. HeatMap only shows relevant numbers for MW3 when checking servers and their location.

Since the beginning of my R3 purchase, all the servers are showing wrong on my router.. I'm from Serbia and I'm lost for everything. I have 5ms to Milano server (1400km), Poland 7ms (1700km), France 5ms (2000km), Germany 4ms (1700km). The only real indicator is MW3. It's simply impossible that I'm less than 10ms away from those servers.. I'm used to that error.

Wired is always better.
