    Save your money and just buy any VPN service (Nord , express , surfshark etc) just VPN the specific ports of your console to change location(this changes the in game geo location but keeps you on local server) This is essentially what these websites are doing and charging you more. Unfortunately there is no magic server or settings to get BOT lobbies all the time and if there is nobody is sharing them. You may get one every now and again but the rest will be normal.

    Congestion control is set to always . I did an auto setup text giving results of 99% upload and download My ISP is 500down 50up Bandwidth allocation I reset so everything has equal both up and down Traffic priorituzation I just have DumaOS Classified games enabled and work from home disabled.... Should I add additional ports ? Thanks @Netduma Fraser for reply apologies for late response I missed the alert email.

    Hi it's the netduma r2 not r3 connected to a sky broadband router Yes I have done those steps and still the same Everything is on the r2 and limited to 6 on upload and download and prioritise gaming at 76 both up n down.

    Hit detection seems to be a second behind causing loss in gunfights. QOS ALWAYS ENABLE no geo filter on strict mode on auto ping host on have tried putting ps5 in dmz makes it worse. IPv6 off tryed with on also no diff 500meg upload 50 download speed Prioritise gaming 67 bandwidth on upload and download, everything else on network single figures Any help/suggestions?

    yeah i hear that . i tried a few different settings and changing MTU most people are finding the vpn route and playing on the italian servers alright but i get the same ping if i vpn or just force the geo fence around those countries. yes there is alot of sweats and alot of weasles hiding around corners. but thats COD thanks for reply ill let you know if i find anything that helps i am playing around with DHCP and DNS

    what do you mean by point 1 ? disabled network properties ? do you change the MTU on the r2 aswell as the ps5 ?

    if you geo locate over the east coast set your ping assist to 0 and it will force those servers it wont change your in game location unless you use a vpn

    what settings are people having the most success with in multiplayer for bullet hit reg? i see alot of talk around : MTU UPNP/DMZ/PORT FORWARDING QOS BANDWIDTH ALLOCATION VPN GEO FILTER TRAFFIC PRIORITIZATION I am on console and not looking to avoid SBMM just fair gun fights. if anyone else is on console,Please let me know if you have had any success? Thanks

    Hi Alex , thank you for the response, i am also on ps5 . do you use dmz or upnp? and thanks everyday is a school day so do you vpn the whole ps5 then rather than specific ports to get the higher 'lag' if you like. appreciate the help

    Thanks micksen. Even in mw2 your in game geo changes ? Mine was staying at my current location. Seems to be a lot of bugs with the game. Thanks for the response though.

    Hi everyone, with the new release of mw2 upon us I'm setting up this thread so we can share what works best for us . if people have any recommendations what works for them purely for multiplayer are we best to just geo filter in the ocean and get lowest ping possible/ auto ping host on or off ? should we prioritize specific traffic open NAT will obviously be best upnp/ipv6/dmz enabled or disabled / BEST network settings ultimately anything that can make our bullet hit reg better please share the knowledge Thanks

    Ok so it all goes back to that. I have it in dmz already. Unfortunately not I have a cat 6 from sitting room up to attic to a splitter and back down to office/game room . I don't fancy chasing walls haha I'll play around with it and see what I can do. Thanks for all the help and replies as usual very helpful

    anyway i can fix the ping under load ?? is there any changes i can make on the isp modem i have hard wired items to the isp i cannot just swap accross there is very little demand from isp not enough to take 230mbs from my dload spead.

    yes this router is purely for my console.Anything else is connected through ISP as this router gets turned off and my ISP router doesn't . This is purely for gaming.

    Hi Liam I have done all of the above Speeds are currently at 476 and 47 this is now showing if I don't use duma qos. But when I do use router is 9.8 and 3.8/4 until I disable QOS. Shared access is enabled And I have attached photo of my connection benchmark test

    I ran the auto setup before launching and it is set at 99/99 I have tried auto enable and always still have reduced speeds. Bandwidth allocation is split evenly between everything on both upload and download As stated already I have just the games console in traffic prioritisation. Work from home off

    i just factory reset and disabled qos and now i am gteting full speeds again on dload and upload ? i have games console set up in traffic prio and can see that working away in the background . is this the only way now to maintain speeds keep qos off ? Thanks
