Sorry for the confusion but what i was trying to say is this On my netdumar gui the ping was normally 8ms Example1 The ps4 adds around 16ms to it as a delay that is 60hz in processing as in game in telemtry this showed my latency of around 24 to 27 ms around this is 100 percent correct ass far as i know the ps4 maximum hz is 60hz Example 2 My ps5 my geo fileter ping was agaimn around 8ms but on my ps5 the ingame ping was showing again latency of around 24ms to 28 ms around This means it addding a delay of 60hz to it If the ps5 was running at 120hz the added deley would only be around 8ms around So my in game ping should have been only 16 ms around this is my ping is 8ms the 120hz delay is 8ms around =ingame ping of 16ms around Btw on my ps5 it showed me the game was runnin 4k at 120hz on the ps5 system but the serveers eerent running at 120 hz for me So when i log into vanguard it shows the game is running at 120hz 4k on ps5 system and in game it shows its correct latency as well In netdumar gui geofilter ping was 8ms again Ingame ping was showing lateny as around 16 to 18ms deley this is correct if game is running 120 hz My ping 8ms add 8ms 120hz delay= 16ms delay around So what i was trying to say for my testing on my ps4 and ps5 mainly ps5 120hz wasnt working on the cod servers side Even though my ps5 showed the game was running at 120hz at4k it wasnt on server side Hopefully i might have explained myself a bit better I just think they capped the servers to 60hz fir the beta or my cod mw2 beta copy was bugged I did see the servers were running at over 120hz every now and then frim watching auto ping but it never showed it to be working for me ingame and im always watching out on these stats

Cheers mobel yeh ive tried old presets on command centre i think mine were from vanguard as i havent played in moths I didnt know there were new presets avaible i usally use potara epra presdts there great also my headset id eith akg 702 or akg 712 i can ber remeber I just seen a video from infatry wafd saying the gamw will use 3d audio to help pinpoint footstep sounds I was thinking that myself Iwas actually thinking of buy either these setups to use the 3d engne and ustum edit eq presets Steelseries artic 7p or artis nova pro Mobel did you play the beta if so how well could you hear enemy footsteps I see you mention in a previous thread about presets do you make the presets yourself or download them like i do ive tried loads over the years My custume prests from vanguard didnt peform that great

Thats what i was thinking But it was till showing in telemtty that pc was running over 60 hz upto 240 hz Its weird either pc was running berta at upto 240 hz and psn upto 60 hz giving pc players a massive advanage i really dont think thats the case I think maybe I m confused with that part

I would like to hear from people who played the cod mw2 beta or play cod games in genral I wantedTo find out what headphones / headsets there using and how well they could hear enemys footsteps in mw2 beta this would be helpful to me and may help others here maybe i just seen a youtube video from devs saying they will be using 3d sound engine to help pinpoint enemy locations sounds Atm my current ps5 setup for audio is astro mix amp tr gen 4 akg 702 headphones The first week of the beta my setup was ok i could hear enemys footsteps quite good 2nd week of beta i struggled to hear footsteps / it was a lot harder As i heard they nerfed footsteps audio -i noticed a lot of players could still easily hear my footsteps from miles away I could easily tell this from watching kill cams and youtubers saying how easily they can hear footsteps of enemys And im not talking about players running dead silence I think its time for my next upgrade to a new setup my only purpose of these headset is to soundwhore As long as i can hear footstps easily and can pinpoint where there from i will be happy I have my thoughts on some but i wanted to hear from users hear on their setup and opinions on there setups The more feedback the better I dont really wanna waste more money on another setup lol I just bought my old setup last year But its defently time to upgrade i think my setup is maybe outdated for the cod mw2 soun engine what ever that is

Any body else notice that on ps5 the beta only rant ot 60hz for the 2 weeks it was live No matter what i tried i couldnt get a single game running 120 hz on netdumar You can see your ingame ping on psn by enabling telementry settings Its the same method on olderd cods as well I logged onto vanguard to see if maybe somthing was wrong on my setup But on vanguard 120hz was working great Somthing elses i noticed watchin a few pc players streams of the cod mw2 beta was weird if they had enebled telematry setting to show their latency in top left corner of screen The latency in top left corner of the scrren displayed a diffrent lateny on the score board The score board latency was always around 10ms lower on scoreboar I di makes me think as well that the game on pc wasnt running above 60hz ss well I cant understand why it ws showing two diffrent latenys even though in top left it was showing some streameers were runninhg at 240hz the conndction showec 2 diffrent results

I think i know what vpn i wanna buy Surfshark It says its unlimited devices i think its compatable with the dumar os Sorrry liam what i meant by unlimited acess is can i share a vpn with a few friend or family member who are not on my network Sorry i explained it wronglyalso if im getting it correct if i wanna change the server location i have to reinstall a new config file is that correct i was hopeing not Thanks for your help liam

I wanted to know Can you change locations of the servers on the fly using it from the routrer itself Or does it have to be done on the config file manually As im not keen on the config method So i would like to get a vpn that works from dumar os that i can change servers on the fly / easily Also i would like for it to have multiple users Also unlimted acsess preferbally from uk but i aint sure it that matter or not any recomendations welcome

I was doing some more testing today and i noticed The game is now using port 443 tcp a lot It is the destination not source If any one wants to try it as i havent worked out the exact port ranges yet I need more testing But you all could try this it should be good Rule 3 source 50000 -65535 source 443 tcp only

You are correct the game uses 50000 - 60000 range but they aint udp there tcp Ile explain Try this settings Rule 1Sorce 3074 - 3075 destination 30000 - 45000 udp Rule 2Source 50000 -60000 destination 3074-3075 tcp These are the only two rules you need These are the ports i only ever found But the 50000 -60000 tcp ports were for source And the 30000 - 45000 upd were for destination Sorry for late post

If your on adsl2 you can get the forum tech team to switch it to fastpath profile For fttc tech team cant do nothing only the modem can switch it to turn off interleaved But it depends on if your local fttc cabinet has it as i think thers 3 types We need tghe one that has g inp or g imp Zennon told me about it i just followe his advice Tbh i dont remeber to mutch Maybe ask zennon I had to go looiing at the fttc cabinets in my area to see if my cabinet suported g imp Also you migh not need to buy a huwae hg612 modem because somt Talktalk huawae routers have g imp in built in to them as mine did But they was causing massive ping spikes thats why i bough the modem hg 612 This was about 4 to 5 years ago so i cant remember to mutch on it

The reason you coulcnt find a game is because you need to add the spanish data centre matchmaiing dedi It only appears when you first log on to the game What you wanna do is add it to allow list name it data then shutdown the game or eject cd then load up game again Then add the next data matchmaiing dedi and name it data Then repeat this process to you foung all the data centre matchmaiing dedi in spain Then search for a game You can do this method with any dedi you wanna play on

Bert is correct about peers I have ben host a few times in the past it was a bad bad expeirience It was quite easy to become the host of a game All i did was det my geo location far away from me Set ping assist to 0 my geo radious as small as possible I only done this when i was trying out diffrent dedis around the world I knew i was host before game started as it didnt show a host on map and i thougt thats strange Also i looked at the network settings ping screen my ping was 0 This was a few weeks ago though
