Im just trying to recreate a pastpath profile i used years ago for cod it was godmode yrs agochanging my db to 9db this was done from talktalk forum tech support Im just trying to research if it can be done Btw that modem do you know if it has the ability to use g.inp Redbull from what ive been reading from ladt night it seems fttc users in uk Can only be put on a 6db snr profile its not ajustable like on adsl I read this last night from kitz website i think it was called So that might be shy when you tried it revertedback

@RedBull2k i thinj thode models you mentioned 1 of them didnt support g. Inp i read somwhere When you tweaked the snr margin was that easy to do in the routers gui or did you have to dio it from telnet i think its called I been reading about a billion modem 8800nl r2 model that might be gold I think its supports g .inp and works on adsl2 but i think its a router as well I read you can easily tweak the snr margin on it Any body ere se this model before i dont know if its an old model i just read about it

@@zennon Im about to buy an asus router i thinki wanted some advice I used to use a fastpath profile about 8ys ago on adsl2 i think i an now on fttc i think its vdel or vdsl2 not sue tbh Had it on a 9db profile it was brilkiant for cod mw2 bo1 Easy mode when i used this I nkow if i buy a modem or router that supports g .inp you can turn off inteleaved I already own a huawei hg612 modem this ueses g .inp But i think in somd modems or router you can change the snr margings as far as im aware i really wanna be able to do this As i know from from years ago talktalk did this for me znd it made cod easy mode for me my isp changed the db for me I tried 4 diffrent snr I think it was 15db not good 12db not good 9db godly and 6db no good This was years ago kn my older propety but i would love to be able to change the dnr i think its called or line stablisation i think it s called in assus routers I just wandred can asus routers do this if not asus the brand fosent matter to me Atm my huawei 612 modem uses g.inp so interleaved is turned off I was gonna buy the asus ac88u but i just read it dosent support line stablistioln i think I read this from asus support from 2020 articei was thinking about buy i think its called asus rt ax88u but its really expensive i dont wanna waste my money if i cant do change the snr to diffrent dbs manually

Thanks mobellol how dis you know i was thinking of buying steelseeies Lol you must be physchi im thinking of buying the steel series artis pro or steelseries nova pro wired or wireless i prefer wirdd normally I more intrested in it for two reasons 1st is its 3d audio wanna see how good its imaging is 2nd is the custum eq Espically the new sonar programe that seems zmazing but its only for pc at moment i think i heard it might be relesed on ps5 as well The astro mixamp seems outdated to me as you can only eq 5 bars / frenquencies as steelseries you can tune 10 eq /frequencies at once Im not sure how gold though the tuning is on the steelseries gg app i think its called as you cant change there frenquencies like you can with astros But on the sonar app of steelseries you can change all frequency and other stuff this just sounds briiliant pitty it sonar is only pc atm I just really hope ps5 get to use sonar Sonar app on its own makes me wanna buy it

Cheers mobel yeh ive tried old presets on command centre i think mine were from vanguard as i havent played in moths I didnt know there were new presets avaible i usally use potara epra presdts there great also my headset id eith akg 702 or akg 712 i can ber remeber I just seen a video from infatry wafd saying the gamw will use 3d audio to help pinpoint footstep sounds I was thinking that myself Iwas actually thinking of buy either these setups to use the 3d engne and ustum edit eq presets Steelseries artic 7p or artis nova pro Mobel did you play the beta if so how well could you hear enemy footsteps I see you mention in a previous thread about presets do you make the presets yourself or download them like i do ive tried loads over the years My custume prests from vanguard didnt peform that great

I would like to hear from people who played the cod mw2 beta or play cod games in genral I wantedTo find out what headphones / headsets there using and how well they could hear enemys footsteps in mw2 beta this would be helpful to me and may help others here maybe i just seen a youtube video from devs saying they will be using 3d sound engine to help pinpoint enemy locations sounds Atm my current ps5 setup for audio is astro mix amp tr gen 4 akg 702 headphones The first week of the beta my setup was ok i could hear enemys footsteps quite good 2nd week of beta i struggled to hear footsteps / it was a lot harder As i heard they nerfed footsteps audio -i noticed a lot of players could still easily hear my footsteps from miles away I could easily tell this from watching kill cams and youtubers saying how easily they can hear footsteps of enemys And im not talking about players running dead silence I think its time for my next upgrade to a new setup my only purpose of these headset is to soundwhore As long as i can hear footstps easily and can pinpoint where there from i will be happy I have my thoughts on some but i wanted to hear from users hear on their setup and opinions on there setups The more feedback the better I dont really wanna waste more money on another setup lol I just bought my old setup last year But its defently time to upgrade i think my setup is maybe outdated for the cod mw2 soun engine what ever that is

I was doing some more testing today and i noticed The game is now using port 443 tcp a lot It is the destination not source If any one wants to try it as i havent worked out the exact port ranges yet I need more testing But you all could try this it should be good Rule 3 source 50000 -65535 source 443 tcp only

You are correct the game uses 50000 - 60000 range but they aint udp there tcp Ile explain Try this settings Rule 1Sorce 3074 - 3075 destination 30000 - 45000 udp Rule 2Source 50000 -60000 destination 3074-3075 tcp These are the only two rules you need These are the ports i only ever found But the 50000 -60000 tcp ports were for source And the 30000 - 45000 upd were for destination Sorry for late post

If your on adsl2 you can get the forum tech team to switch it to fastpath profile For fttc tech team cant do nothing only the modem can switch it to turn off interleaved But it depends on if your local fttc cabinet has it as i think thers 3 types We need tghe one that has g inp or g imp Zennon told me about it i just followe his advice Tbh i dont remeber to mutch Maybe ask zennon I had to go looiing at the fttc cabinets in my area to see if my cabinet suported g imp Also you migh not need to buy a huwae hg612 modem because somt Talktalk huawae routers have g imp in built in to them as mine did But they was causing massive ping spikes thats why i bough the modem hg 612 This was about 4 to 5 years ago so i cant remember to mutch on it

The reason you coulcnt find a game is because you need to add the spanish data centre matchmaiing dedi It only appears when you first log on to the game What you wanna do is add it to allow list name it data then shutdown the game or eject cd then load up game again Then add the next data matchmaiing dedi and name it data Then repeat this process to you foung all the data centre matchmaiing dedi in spain Then search for a game You can do this method with any dedi you wanna play on

That server ghost is france i think The sever we play on is just south west of it

Bert is correct about peers I have ben host a few times in the past it was a bad bad expeirience It was quite easy to become the host of a game All i did was det my geo location far away from me Set ping assist to 0 my geo radious as small as possible I only done this when i was trying out diffrent dedis around the world I knew i was host before game started as it didnt show a host on map and i thougt thats strange Also i looked at the network settings ping screen my ping was 0 This was a few weeks ago though

Grafti This probally a silly question but i have to ask it is geo filter set to filter mode not spectate mode I only have only one other solution that might fix the issue Actually i think i know how to fix yor issue as this has happent to me before and it simple to fix Its to do with your add deny list When you keep changing your location its stores the allowed servers on you allow list that regions matchmaking server but you cant deny it after so it will always try to connect to it So i recomend you actually delete it from the allow and deny list this solved it for me If you cant do that delete everything on your allow and deny list and start all other again If this dosnt work Then only option is to factory restet it I hope i made sence

Do you have a preset for the akg 702 for cod mw This is what i been trying to do for the last few weeks as i posted a vey intreseting thread about this subject from a user here on the forum Its not to decrease the packets but decrease the packets length Thats what i think the problem is When i was looking at people wire shark captures it showed The clients packet lengths were higher than the servers packet length When i seen that i just thought it was odd But i have no knowledge on this stuff btw the way i found out how to limit the packets The link is in my lag com thrread i thkhk The link is called possible fix for lag comp Its from a forum member call roydavis77

Are they for call of duty mw thank you mobel i will try them out I just tried sables preset Zalias new updated cod tournament preset for after patch 1 .09 there brilliant And i tested a lot of presets in the two weeks i had them they say presets are like buses you get one and another one turns up after lol

I tried your 3074 3075 80 1935 both tcp udp for me it made no diffrence so i just kept my original 3074 to 30000 45000 vicevera rules Hopefully it might help someone else though

Sable is there any chance you might post your astro mix amp custum eq setting or link so i can download it my presets are crap As i only just bought them a few weeks ago
