Just wanted to inquire and see if it's possible to have too many things in SmartBoost to the point where it affects performance on the router. We have the broader topics like "Video & Streaming" within SmartBoost then within that you can select things like YouTube and Twitch. What is optimal? Selecting the exact application that you are using or just using the broader topic?

Out of curiosity doesn't this get turned on automatically anyway? I'll give it a try regardless and see how it feels. Lobby to lobby is a toss up with hit detection and responsiveness.

Can we add zoom contact center to the list? I use it for work for calls but when I get a call, it doesn't trigger the VoIP priority I have set in smart boost. I also don't see traffic for Spotify and YouTube music when I stream those. Hoping I have time to add caps from my computer later today.

Call of duty launch always feels like this until they fix it. Even with no bufferbloat it feels like you get deleted. It feels like everyone else is instantly reacting which I don't particularly remember from launch last year. Very frustrating experience. Seems to vary from lobby to lobby.

Will test when I'm off work. Last night in a match nothing was showing.

Can we add sparking zero to the gaming list in the cloud? I've been coming across a lot of lag in PVP matches. I know it's probably just the other peppers connections, but if it were added it would give me peace of mind.

@Netduma Jack B Yes I'm on PS5. No VPN and I'm hard wired in. When I tested this I was in a custom game so that's probably where I'm seeing a difference. But even in MW3 when I would shoot bots in a private lobby the gaming/call of duty light would stay on in the entire time I was in the custom match. Aside from that everything about my setup is normal.

@Netduma Fraser So I just tested it. When the game boots up. The call of duty and gaming option light up. Then it just seems to randomly turn on and off in smart boost when matchmaking and in a game. It doesn't consistently stay on when I'm in a match.

I can second this actually as well. I was on PS5 and it was telling me where I was connected just didn't actually show on the geo filter

When playing black ops 6, the traffic does not light up the gaming category in smartboost even when I'm in a match. Maybe we could make black ops 6 traffic separate from "call of duty content" as it currently shows in smart boost now.

Would definitely love to see this on all the routers.

I was playing black ops 6 earlier tonight and I noticed that it's showing up as call of duty content, which is fine but I noticed the gaming light was not being triggered in smart boost while I was in an online match. Can we update this so black ops 6 traffic shows as gaming traffic? Also wanted to request to add sparking zero traffic to the game list. Thanks! As a work around I have my PS5 prioritized. But I would like to have the the BO6 traffic trigger gaming in my R3.

@DARKNESS Yeah I figured it was wrong. I'm very late to this party but can you give my directions on how I can set this up properly so my computer sees my console traffic?

Do you know when we will be able to lower CC sliders below 50 percent? That is the only way I can get an A+ on bufferbloat. Other wise it increases 60+ ms under load and I have other people in my house who stream and download when I play causing lag.

It seems like the R2 isn't seeing the Xr1000 as an access point. But it still doesn't explain the constant dropping in and out on device manager.

So I made my XR1000 an access point and am now running my network off of my R2. Geo filtering now works and all the traffic stuff seems to be working okay. There are some weird spots where it sometimes does not detect my PS5 traffic but it seems to have corrected itself? Need to do more testing. Not sure if I should put this in the R2 support section but here I go: So I've assigned my XR1000 (access point) a static IP on my R2, but I am noticing that even though my wifi doesn't drop out, on device manager the devices will drop in and out. I'llattach screenshots so you can see, these screenshots were taken less than one minute apart. Many of the other devices do the same thing where they drop in and out on device manager but they don't actually lose connection when that occurs. I noticed that my phone will drop the wifi connection after a certain amount of time as well. So I am just bringing this to attention and would also like to request to be able to label another router or access point on the device map as the XR1000 is showing up as a computer as you can see from the screenshot. Doubt that has anything to do with it but it's worth a shot. Maybe I should factory reset the XR1000 and put it in AP mode again? Open to suggestions.
