Internet Speed halfed... 1000mbps to 500mbps

Hi ! As you can see, deactivating smartboost is functional! Enregistrement 2024-01-14 121155.mp4 Reload your browser page! -
Hi! I assure you, no need for a VPN, it is sometimes necessary to remove the device from the geo-filter, restart everything and put it back in the geo-filter so that the settings are taken into account! 😉 In the same way as a browser, on console or PC, the connection information is stored in the cache, hot modifications to the geo-filter are simply not taken into account!
-
Make sure the Xbox is using port 3074 and the game will be prioritized!
-
Please keep in mind that there is no comparison! Router / "VPN" ... What did you expect. 😉

Hi ! https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53546-fixed-cpu-usage-spike-issue-coming-next-week/#comment-394783 It might be related! Will be fixed on the next FW! 😁

Hi! It's not easy to understand these questions with your screenshot! Do you want to prioritize COD? What platform do you play on PS5/Xbox/PC?

Firmware 0.23 - Router is restarting randomly every 2 hours

Hi ! The best would be to wait for the R3 to reconnect to capture the logs! This will allow you to better understand the reasons for the breakdown you are experiencing! Can you tell us how your R3 is managed behind your ISP? (DMZ, ; DHCP ; PPPoE ; Vlan...) -
Hi ! ... WPA3 It's just the latest wifi encryption standard! To put it simply: it’s an additional safety criterion! I assure you... nothing to do with the bandwidth of Wifi 6 or anything else...
-
that's it, that's the idea, it will allow you to have live data when you play on the TV or on the phone without having a PC or the phone to see. Just a tablet/screen to monitor! I think she was more into the idea of a small LCD screen like you can see on some peripherals... The tablet with app will do the job very well!

Come to think of it...with an Android wifi tablet lying around in a cupboard and the USB3 port only for power. Is it possible to do something for him for not too much money... it will always be cheaper than giving her the latest iPhone 😂
-
Concerning the "USB3 port" R3, it would be "incredible"👾 to be able to connect a small screen to it which gives live data from the dashboard/geofilter etc... (By the way, my daughter who asked me a question)... 😁 I didn't dwell on the possibility of this, I just promised I would ask 🤗
-
Hi ! You actually answered your own question! no need indeed 😁
-
Everything looks correct on the isp and R3 side! according to your first screenshots, I also had the case and simply restarting the ISP worked for me!😉 Is there software on the PC that could block NAT? Have you authorized the game in the PC firewall rules?
-
Do the steps I mentioned, often the main router needs to be restarted for the changes to take effect! In any case, moderate NAT is not a problem for gaming... And it's preferable to exposing your PC!
-
Yes ! it is very strongly recommended. Keep the R3 in the main router's DMZ. delete the rules and the dmz from the pc and reactivate the upnp of the R3. Generally, simply restarting the main router and the PC will give you NAT open for games!

Salut Dany ! Tu peux aller dans les paramètres avancés de Ping optimiser. Règles le cc manuellement, mets sur toujours et désactives le bypass Speedtest !
-
Hi ! Haven't seen an ETA for that! But it’s on the list, don’t worry! 😁

Getting only 500MB download while i have 1GB
Krush replied to uniiiiiq's topic in Netduma R3 Support
@uniiiiiq I wouldn't do it... But we can accompany. 1 - Did your ISP provide you with a router? If yes, connect it to your ONT (fiber output) 2 - Connect the R3 to your ISP router (LAN/WAN) 3 - On your ISP router define a "static/fixed" IP for the R3 then enter it in the DMZ of your ISP router. If you don't know, provide us with screenshots of your ISP router's administration pages, from there we can guide you. (Hide sensitive information) -
Caution !! Reboot router in 4.0.23 cause your router bricked !!

??? Could you provide more information regarding your problem? screenshot / video I've been on this FW for a while and I'm not encountering this in any way! -
This is something that has been detected, it will be fixed on the next FW without a doubt.

@Proud R3 Owner Personally, I disabled STP on the R3 because I use a switch to manage my network transfers locally between my devices behind the R3. PC/PC ; XBOX/XBOX ; PC/NAS. With STP local transfers, in part, tended to go through the R3's WAN/LAN limited to 1Gbps on all of its ports.

Getting only 500MB download while i have 1GB
Krush replied to uniiiiiq's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It's possible by letting your ISP router manage the PPPoE and putting the R3 in DHCP in the DMZ of the ISP router. ONT/ISP Router/R3 -

Krush replied to uniiiiiq's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It's strange, why do you have multimode SFP in the fiber/RJ45 converter when your ONT is single mode? https://www.amazon.fr/TP-Link-TL-SM321B-2-bidirectionnel-1000Base-BX-Interface/dp/B09D2C3C15/ref=sr_1_14?__mk_fr_FR=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=2OET2WKTMV3HH&keywords=tp%2Blink%2Bsfp%2Bmonomode&qid=1704198566&sprefix=tp%2Blink%2Bsfp%2Bmonomode%2Caps%2C63&sr=8-14&th=1 In addition, you must be in PPPoE, which could explain lower speeds... -
Very good suggestion! For example, I have a TCL smart TV which only works on channels 36 to 48 on the 5Ghz band. The only way to have it on the 5Ghz band is to manually manage this channel range.
