Yeah, Clean. False positives on less than great Av's.

It could be dead silence but when I watch the kill cam they are moving normally, they do not have the boost in speed that DS has. I use the Sennheiser HD800 one of the most revealing headphones still to this day and sure enough when I am streaking or getting high up the specialist tree enemy's are silent. The audio has other abnormality's, if a players starts to talk their voice stays where they started speaking from but the model is across the street now but their voice is next to you. This could be part of the not hearing footsteps near you if they are sounding further away because of a bug which the voices surely have. I played Blops4 last night, pin point accurate sound.

Intel's Puma 6 chipset suffers from latency & jitter, fix soon.
Zennon replied to Zennon's topic in TechnoBabble
Make sure you are running 2.5 interval on ping plotter if that is what you mean by connecting it from my geo. You may be checking from CMD running a ping command if so forget the above. If you have a modem check the ping directly from it to a PC/Laptop to see if the Modem is causing the spikes. If the spikes are non existant from the modem directly change Ethernet cables from the modem to the router. -
Yes to this, dizzeespellz have you set up congestion control correctly? How to Congestion Control

Unusual for a HH to spike, it would be handy if you download and run PingPlotter so we can see what is happening as it may be something else that is the cause and buying a new modem might not solve it. If it is a router issue I would first check what cabinet type you are on, scroll down to the bottom of the page to find yours Cabinet types Below are modem suggestion you would need to plug it into your Netduma product to get routing. The buy a modem with a matching chipset for the best compatibility My cabinet is a Hauwei (Broadcom chipset) I use the Hauwei HG612 (there are other Broadcom modems) For an ECI cabinet that uses the Lantiq chipset there is an ECI modem or the Draytek Vigor 130

DHCP option 60 & 61 feature?
Zennon replied to TheFuzzyOne87's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Have you used wireshark to find the user name and password from your sky router to enable you to use third party modems / routers ? -
Yeah, thanks Iain ive got you now, I did not realize it would need voice channel to be effective.
-
To add to your suggestion. Temp ban only ban's one IP from a bank of possible hundreds in a server bank. to ban the whole server it would need a wild card system to look something like this 35.566.*.*

I might be missing something here but what does a mic have to do with this? Can you only ping peers with mic's enabled? On the original R1 fw there was a chart for players in your lobby, I use the og FW a lot and when all the players have round about the same ping times give or take around 20ms cod plays in-sync. When there is somebody in with a 80-120 sometimes its higher it throws the sync out. I can manually do this by using the old FW and checking the chart, I was asking for DumaOS to plot peer pings and to boot me auto from a lobby if they are over the threshold, what has this to do with mic's Iain? like I say I dont want to hear people with that high a ping I want to auto back out the lobby
-
Maybe not but you are an integral part of the the Netduma machine and an asset :)
-
When I think about this, if a player backs out then a new one enters with a ping higher than my selected players max acceptable ping it would either kick me or have to allow then until the match ended or it would be a wide spread kicking evening of fun lol.
-
But I was talking about a player max ping lobby check, so If they are over a max ms I set then it kicks me back out to search again. So I would not need to hear them as they would be in a lobby with a ping higher than my selected so I did not want to play in said lobby anyway. In a cod game if all the players have a ping that is comparable it is a fair and balanced as soon as a few high ms ping players enter the sync goes way off especially in Blops4 it just can not sync well between wide ping ranges. I never use anything but party chat with my privacy set to friends only.
-
Are the chat servers on say xbox live not white listed? so party chat would work.
-
It would be quality, I have asked before on twitter but hopefully somebody's taking notes this time 😛 🤗
-
Is there a way that you can see the pings of the players in a lobby before the game starts and we can set a max player ping per lobby, so if it at a range of say a max of 60ms and a player was connected at 75ms to that lobby it would kick us back so we can search again. High ping players are the bain of cod it throws the sync right out of the window, this feature would be a god send to me.
-
Stick that on the to do list cheers
-
Great idea guys, is it possible to have a ping assist max and minimum range so it will only connect between the range? that way you could search for between 30-35ms if you find servers in that range play better say. Doing this would rule out potential misallocated servers when using the the geo circle to get a further afield server.

My line started to play up, I had packet loss, I changed my VDSL face plate and it is fixed. Filters need changing regularly and so do filtered face plates. RJ11 cables from the faceplate to the modem/router can start to fail also. To save on Sky not having a clue and sending an engineer this is something to think about.
-
The game adds your latency to the host and the in game latency together, that is why it is higher.
-
I would test with twitter.com. If you have an android device download farproc WiFi Analyzer and make sure your routers channel is far from your Neighbours as possible.
-
You have packet loss on the destination, to rule in out the Google server I would try twitter.com. You need to be testing using cable and definitely gaming with Ethernet also the packet loss could be down to using Wifi.

That is good news, has the FW changed on the hub? -
As BD has asked what does it drop too? as it can start high for some reason then quickly find the correct ping.
