After one day of using it, no problems what so ever. I’m using it for the routing so I have a  Zyxel WiFi mesh doing the bridge mode so I don’t double Nat. My load averages is 0.23 0.20 0.18. And my XR500 was 5.12 5.00 4.78 with the same amount of devices (25-30). No longer have DCHP issues. Still has the QoS bug when you go to the QoS page and keeps saying Applying settings.

but I’ve been impressed, yeah might not have as powerful hardware but it’s way more stable then the net gear version. I’m pretty sure the XR500 was the reason my Sonos and WiFi mesh was disconnecting (DCHP causing it).

I’ll report back in a few days time.

Happy to hear you're having a good experience. For QoS try clearing the browser cache/cookies then loading the page once, see if that prevents applying settings appearing.

Still in beta, for how longer..

Until we're confident that it is suitable for public release.

I cant seem to find a clear answer to this, but Fraser, is the duma 0S 3.0 on the XR1000 technically also in beta? or is it close to a stable build since it came baked onto the router upon release? Thank you.

We've beta tested it so no, should be on par with the R2 version.

  4. Glad you're liking it so far @Vasil! Regarding heatmap I've let the dev responsible know and they should be able to push a cloud update through to fix it next week. I would recommend putting the R1 WAN IP found in System Information into the dd-wrt router DMZ and then you should be good to go.

Would love access to this. Thinking about getting an R2. Have a ton of r-x series netgear routers. Just upgraded to a CM2000 and pulling my R1 back out of my game room back into the front of the mix. WOULD LOVE TO TRY THE BETA! Signed up when it was announced!

I have it worked last night for 7- 12 hrs and now as soon as i made a change to the name of a device, it began the reboot loop again. This is very frustrating.

Did you do a factory reset as I advised in PM?

Is the R2 available in Australia locally or will I need to import it? Does it come provided with a AU power plug adapter or will I need to find an adapter myself?  I know some high end Asus and Netgear routers come provided with different power plug adapters.

    Hey, welcome to the forum!

We do not sell in retail so it would have to be imported. We offer 3 working day shipping to Australia from netduma.com. We will provide an AUS adapter for you so that you are able to use the router right away.
