DoZZa Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Just need clarification on something. Ping Assist allows the router to connect to a host outside the Geo Filter if its reported ping is within the range set with the Ping Assist slider. Strict Mode only allows connections to hosts that are within the Geo Filter radius. So what happens when say Ping Assist is set at 30ms and Strict Mode enabled? Will Strict Mode overrule the Ping Assist, or will Ping Assist still try to connect to servers outside the Geo Filter?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 11, 2015 Administrators Posted December 11, 2015 The game will search for hosts within your Geo range & if a game is detected as under your ping limit that will also get allowed
lukasz Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Nope If the host that falls under you ping assist value will be found it will be allowed regardless of your distance and strict mode on.

PharmDawgg Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 The ping assist Is great at catching those mislocated severs too. Mislocated servers are those that are actually within your filter but on the map show up outside of the filter.
