DoZZa
OK, so I ordered the NETDUMA late Sunday morning, it arrived Tuesday. And it gets better! This device is excellent! It does what its supposed to do and it does it well. Bearing in mind that the VDSL line I use the NETDUMA on is purely dedicated to gaming only. The only device connected to the NETDUMA is a console. So for me there is no need for any Congestion Control. This is how I have things setup. Draytek Vigor 130 VDSL Modem ----> NETDUMA ----> XBOX ONE. All ethernet cables, no WiFi. I followed the instructions in the Wiki to get everything up and running. I did encounter one issue and that was a slight degradation in download speed. My old ASUS RT-N66U (an excellent router btw) was giving me 72mbps downstream, but with the newly installed NETDUMA it dropped to around 60mbps. Upstream was not effected. However after doing some reading, I found that there was a couple of settings that I could try changing. I changed these settings and saw my speed come back, in fact it is now even better on the downstream with speedtest.net results showing 75mbps. So I can say that this router is indeed fast! To get my speed back to where it was I changed a couple of settings, I changed Algorithm in the Congestion Control settings from Preemptive to Reactive. I then went to Miscellaneous settings and disabled Deep Packet Processing. And finally I enabled Turbo Mode. If you are having issues with speed degradation with your NETDUMA, then I suggest you try these settings. The information I used is readily available HERE. With the speed sorted, it was then time to test the actual meat of the device in the form of finding lag free lobbies in Black Ops 3!! Again, with the aid of the instructions in the Wiki, I made my settings. I created a service for the XBOX ONE. Then I placed the map drop pin on my location, made the GeoFilter range as small as possible and then clicked the Snap (next to the Search button) button two times, this gives you the optimum range for the GeoFilter to do its stuff. I also enabled Strict Mode. I then set Ping Assist at 30.00ms. I simply added 15.00ms to my base ping to decide on the Ping Assist setting of 30.00ms. And that was that, simple and highly effective. With the GeoFilter service disabled, I could see that when searching for a lobby, the game would almost always try to connect me to a US host, no good to me considering I am in the UK! And not even an US East Coast host, it was a West coast host, so after crossing thousands of miles of ocean, my data would then have to cross thousands of miles of land to reach its destination, and of course, back to me again. Not good at all. No wonder I have been getting very inconsistent results in game. With the GeoFilter enabled, it was finding lobbies in the UK with no problems, the longest I had to wait for a game was about one minute. I tried TDM lobbies, Domination lobbies and Bonus Moshpit lobbies. When I first started testing the NETDUMA, it was about 2pm UK time. So there were not many players online in the UK at that time, but it found lobbies in the UK. As it got past 5pm UK time, finding lobbies was almost as quick as not using the NETDUMA. The true test came when I had my friends in a party. I did have concerns about finding lobbies with the four of us in a party looking for a lobby. But no, there was no problem and we all had good games. Of course I was the party leader, this is important if you are gaming with friends, if you are running the NETDUMA then you need to be the party leader, you need to be the one searching for games. Now onto the feel of the game with the NETDUMA doing its stuff. The first thing I noticed was hit detection is VASTLY improved. Not only this but I was winning straight up gun battles 7 times out of 10. Before it was a dead cert that it would be more like 2 times out of 10! Kills were coming fast and consistent. One thing I did notice, when using the Peer Ping feature, if there is a peer in the lobby with a high ping, expect that game not to be as smooth. Especially if you come across that player face to face in a doorway time and time again as you will probably lose the gunfight! For a nice lag free game, all lobby members should have nice low pings. I only had two games were I noticed a couple of players with high ping. But it made all the difference. Of course there is nothing the NETDUMA can do to counter this, if it bothers you that much then back out and find another lobby and hope there are no laggy players in it. Just something to keep an eye on. I think that a lot of people are misunderstanding what this device is all about, it isn't a way of cheating, or having some type of GOD mode enabled. Its more about levelling the playing field, something that the game devs are clearly not interested in doing by fixing their netcode and ridiculous lag compensation features, I am of course referring to the CoD series of games. If they have not fixed it by now, considering how many CoD titles there have been over the years, and we are STILL seeing issues, they will never sort it out. If you are looking for a device that will give you the upper hand and always win, then get a PC, play games like CS:S and find a wall hack with aimbot. If you want to play fair with the best odds, then NETDUMA is undoubtedly a clear winner. If you are not seeing the results you expect to see with the NETDUMA, I suggest you read, do some more reading, and then read again. All the information is here on this site already made for you. If you set it up right then it will work the way it should do and you will have no problems with it. Very happy with my purchase, and thanks to everyone involved in bringing this device to market. Good work and well done. DoZZa

Pro Innocence
This is great! unfortunately for me I cannot get a separate internet line just for gaming. but when the anti jitter/spike feature drops it will essentially do the exact same thing as having a free line so I am well excited to hear just good things from a separate line! nice write up man !
