Where are you and the people who you were playing with located. yes i have the new update, and it was last night i cant pull a internet diagnostic, but ive been testing my sliders at 100/100 and i havent been lagging. i just want to enjoy playing seems like my $200 is not preforming as well as i hop so. And is it the people who you are playing with who are lagging? Is that is right how far away from you are they? And put the sliders at 70% for upload and download. And put the sliders at 70% for upload and download. yes whenever i host everyone lags even the ppl from my own town. this never use to happen until the netduma and when i put the sliders at 70 in private match or oublic matches i tend to lag since the new update any help there?? imts_maul Posted November 23, 2015 Share Posted November 23, 2015 what are your internet speeds from your ISP.. and what kind of prioritization are you giving your console.. for example, through Charter Communications I pay for 60down and 5up.. I really see 50 down an 4.8up, so I set those numbers in my Netduma, when I'm gaming I have my sliders at 75/75 and my ps4 prioritized to 70%.. Now they're are times the game itself will lag, but I've never had a private match lag with these numbers.. I was playing wih a full party last night, 6 of us playing TDM for hours with no lag... Make sure the GeoFilter is disabled and the sliders are at 70% when you are doing private matches. Also make sure that you have entered your correct bandwidth speeds in the congestion control page. JConnor Posted November 23, 2015 Share Posted November 23, 2015 I think the missing piece of the puzzle is we don't know what the OP's internet speeds are? If he/she is trying to host on less than 1mbps... That's not going to work. If they have at least 3-5mbps, that's preferred because anything less than this is going to cause people to lag since they can't send data fast enough regardless, of their friends locations (distance)... Depending on what console he's on, PS4 games are terrific using dedicated servers in California. Remember folks....I'm located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I've also discovered that on the Xbox front, shrinking my geo filter to just cover California and ping assist set to "0" (forcing to avoid the Kansas and Seattle dedicated servers), I've gotten games on California dedicated servers. I've NEVER gotten games from their while on the Xbox. Fraser, I've "PM'd" you in regards to "whitelist" servers, can you check that out. Let me know what you think. I'm thinking to just leave it alone and not whitelist that particular id. By whitelisting it, I'm not sure if finding games in California will be affected. I'm thinking the OP problem is his ISP.
