I never get hit detection like this even with 20 ms pings. I record gameplay using the PS4 share button which automatically saves the last 15 mins of gameplay. I then edit the footage using the PS4 Sharefactory app. Not sure what my ping was during this particular game but I set my Ping Assist to max. of 50 ms.
