shodges71
I have just set up my r1. Setup is modem > r1 > r7000 nighthawk. I am using google chrome and when I go to the geo filter it only shows one red circle on the map. The nighthawk was setup as an ap and the r1 is setup for wired. I have rebooted the routers and was unsure about the DMZ or firewalls I read about in previous posts. NAT shows open on Xbox One. I do not know much about advanced setups on the routers. Posted screenshot of geo filter. Thanks for any help.
PharmDawgg
Go under Settings and Miscellaneous and check Enable auto cloud and bleeding edge. Then click apply cloud settings and reboot router and console. And see if that helps.
shodges71
Both auto cloud and bleeding edge were enabled, but did a reboot for the router and console. There was no change to the geo filter screen.

There was no change to the geo filter screen. Hey shodges71 What game were you trying it out on at the time ? Could you try & see if you get the same problem using another browser like Firefox and post back, cheers. I use firefox and this happened to me earlier on CoD: AW, I think I blocked a bad host at the time & I couldn't get any search results for matches. There was just one circle showing on the Geo. Mine was simple though, I just went back to the main menu & waited til every circle disappeared then slowly loaded multiplayer back up. All the servers appeared how they should correctly and I connected to a match without any delay
shodges71
Yam, I was trying this on COD AW. Another thing is my internet speed. I have cable and my plan is DL up to 200mbps(but normally run between 140 to 180) and upload up to 20mbps(runs between 10 to 15. With a ping 30ms or lower. with the neduma and the nighthawk connected I'm testing at 50.39 down and 6.40 up with a 73ms ping.

Well you'd be better off sorting the speed issue first Run through this guide: http://forum.netduma.com/forum/51-getting-max-speeds/ Once thats done, reboot everything and check the Geo again thanks. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 22, 2015 Administrators Share Posted October 22, 2015 I would say go through this guide http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=fine_tune_netdumait includes getting the max supported speeds currently as well as DMZ (this will be good to ensure you always have an open NAT) You say you get one red host, is this when you're in a game? When you're searching do you see anything on the map?
shodges71
Mr Fraser. I recieved the R1 3 days ago and yes I did read directions. I believe I have went through everything there is on FAQ,WIKI,Speed,Fine tuning and nothing has worked. The one red host is there when searching and in game. I tryed again today and that one host is still there but now it's 3 little red dots.

If so that means you connected to it via ping assist. Have you tried rebooting the Netduma and also try re-adding the device to the GeoFilter
shodges71
I have rebooted the Netduma several times and tried to re-add the device and no changes. Speed did increase after I disconnected the Nighthawk. The three dots did look like the bottom one, however after rebooting I am back to just the one red circle.
