Murdoch
At what point in the game or connecting to the game (COD AW) does the server try and calculate your ping? And my second question on ps4 controller. Does the cord you plug in to charge it via the usb also give you a faster connection to the controller, or is it only for charging purposes? I personally don't feel a difference plugged in or not.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted September 23, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted September 23, 2015 I'm not sure about the first question but plugging your controller in via wire means that the controller doesn't use wireless so I think it is faster but I'm not sure by how much or if it is a significant difference
Zennon
I was always under the impression that it is calculated in the game lobby. In p2p versions of cod it would always look for the host In the game lobby. I have always played wired on all systems for me it makes sense. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 23, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 23, 2015 Hey Murdoch, if you notice it normally starts to ping once you're in a lobby that looks like will load into the game
shadow rckts
The difference between wired and wireless is inconsequential, while there is one for sure, it's smaller than anyone can notice (and much smaller than the game you're in's current ping to the host), so feel free to dance about your room without being held by the confines of wired controllers.. or buy wired.. either way..
